That's something bitcoin hasn't done for ages.

I agree that Ether is in a gigantic bubble, right now, but still, the increase in price is there. 1000% is definitely not something that you can see every day in the crypto world, especially in the bitcoin world.

I wonder if their paid advertising that I keep coming across has anything to do with the run-up.

Ethereum for now is useless for me there's no reason that ethereum will pass into bitcoin..
I am 99.9% believe that bitcoin will stay remain.
And i think the value of ethereum will be stay into 0.008 after june..

Well i remember ethereum being worth 200k satoshis and were pumped into 500k now i see it worthing almors 0.03btc well for me looks like the silver place belongs to eth now and looks like we are about to see a boom into eth that may bring eth into a high level,i were away from computer last days but i see 40kbitcoins into eth and a wall of 10k bitcoin these just at poloniex soo something is happening here and with a lot of balls.

Never underestimate the power of greed and the silliness of market cap as an actual measure. Throw in the majority of volume on one exchange and it could top it without having any 'real' users or actual uses. Whether Bitcoin fans are well rounded enough to recognise that for what it is is another matter.

I would hope this coin wouldnt come anywhere near bitcoins cap, Im surprised at the amount of people that have jumped on ether already. If you really think its going to surpass bitcoin then you should be all in. i wont be.

Are you for real? Ethereum has taken a big amount away from bitcoin but its hardly any better than a rebranded dogecoin. With its unlimited supply and massive premine there is guaranteed to be tears in the future.

It has no total supply so its value will go down.
