Ethereum has enough to prove and they already built their platform and their community, they are the preferred platform in the industry so my vote right now is on Ethereum but of course, any coin can challenge ethereum supremacy and top position and this is very beneficial for cryptocurrency supporters.
There's a high expectations right now on EOS there are Dapps/tokens/ICO that are based on EOS, one example of them is menlo.one they are trying to create cross-chain wallet with EOS and IRYO a healthcare company trying to create an ICO on EOS platform. So my bet would be on EOS.

EOS is less valuable than ETH, and ETH is more decentralized than EOS. So I consider that potential strength is in ETH.

I really like the EOS project and this is really going to be the next big thing but at the sametine I would prefer ethreum over it because ethreum has been through so many challenges and still standing tall which many new alts are yet to experience.

EOS is more scalable, this is its main advantage over ETH. Its blockchain is more fast and flexible. And of course Graphene technology undoubtedly adds the advantages of EOS.
I prefer Ethereum more than any other crypto. Of course EOS is one of the best options for investment now. It shows one of the best results on the market. But I used to work with Ethereum. I believe this currency.
How can you consider ETH as a currency, even if you ask the developer they will give you a much better explanation, it is a token creation platform and it is being widely used to create scams and other tokens 
. The price is over inflated for a token creation platform and i would look for other coins or tokens to invest rather than investing in ETH, i am not familiar with EOS but will have a look later on.
