Is it safe?
All of my experience when i use jaxx.io it is safe there are not problem and today jaxx io has added the DAO wallet on their app. One app can be used for 3 cryptos bitcoin, ethereum and the DAO.
Is it a full support (include voting?)

I have used jaxx.io and everything went fine, there is not need synchroning. It is very simple and easy for use. You can try it too. Good luck.

I think I know why ETH wallet is taking for ever to download the blocks.   I have 0.7.2.  Now. The update is 0.7.3. You think this is the reason if so what part of the new wallet do I paste in the old wallet folder
I used jaxx.io on my android and the updating is automatic via play store, there is not need copy-paste between new or old wallet of ethereum. It is very simple and i can save my time.

Haven't used a wallet for ethereum yet but I know that coinbase has an exchange for them now that was introduced last week. So until then I will use their service to hold them until I can get one installed such as the one mentioned above.

I haven't issue with sync (however it takes definitely too much time compared to other coinz)
I have issue with working (freezing, overload, hanging etc)

Sorry, no problems like that here at all. Maybe someone else will chime in.

I have latest (0.7.4) but nothing better...
I would like to (dao)vote and don't want to reveal my prvkey like I should have by myetherwallet site..

There is no bootstrap.dat for Ethereum Sad If you are using Mist and have the latest 0.7.4 running make sure geth.exe and Electron are not blocked by your firewall. Or just turn your firewall off until the Ethereum blockchain is up to date.

Instead of starting Mist by clicking on the Ethereum-Wallet application in Windows, from your Ethereum Wallet installation directory, open a command prompt window and run the command:

.\resources\node\geth\geth --fast console

to speed up the sync.

Ethereum Wallet - useless I'm afraid.. over 6gb RAM after few minutes after adding contract watching Sad
Is there any more local wallet for ether now?

You could use Etherwall but will still need to download the full blockchain using geth

Best I think to stick with the official Mist wallet get the latest release at https://github.com/ethereum/mist/releases

You can try an SPV light wallet from Jaxx at https://jaxx.io/

If you want to use Trezor for storing Ether best to stick with Mist as Trezor support is planned.

If you download the ETH wallet, then good look keeping it up to date!
I didn't open if for a few weeks, I am not sure I will ever catch up now.

It processes blocks at about 10 per second for me, and it usually just stops after a while meaning that I can't just leave it running until it catches up...

My laptop isn't the best, but it isn't the worst either (Latitude E6220)

What's up with it stopping all the time taking for ever ??

It keep saying Ethereum node needs to sync, please wait...
I've been waiting for almost half an hour then click SKIP PEER SEARCH, nothing happen.
How can I get it to connect to nodes?

For me the problem was the firewall. I deactivated the firewall on my Windows and in my Antivirus which had a firewall aswell. I also was at work, and here he have another firewall and i had to open port 30303 to connect to the internet. These clients are very tricky as they do not connect to "normal" ports, now i am connected to 12 peers and the blockchain is downloading. Cheerz

You need to run geth.exe first and then open wallet. It will take about seven or eight hours to download blocks. Pay attention because geth hangs sometimes.

I would not download anything from a link i followed from bitcointalk.  I never follow any links off this site.  If you want a wallet you should get one but {never click anything thats posted on bitcointalk}  thats a rule i live by.

I believe if you navigate to your geth executable directory in a command line and type "geth.exe --fast" it will behave the same way.  At the very least - you should be able to type geth and watch it sync.

Edit: I just verified this is working on my Win 10 box.
