In my own opinion, I do not think ethereum will get to this amount in this year especially with the current condition of the market, it can be really hard to say it will get to this amount. I believe when the market recover and the price of coin begins to grow ethereum will reach $2000 by the end of the year.

It would be great if eth will reach $15,000 this year but as far as I can see it can't, because $15,000 is way big and it's impossible to grow that big with just a short amount of time.

The thing people like about ETH is that it does have intrinsic value and platform for tokens. Ethereum also has the ledger capabilities that Bitcoin has, so it could break $2000.
