$2500 is reachable, and anytime soon this will happen. This thread was made in 2018 and speculations that some people have said that were brought by the OP are very different and all wrong. ethereum may reach a price of $ 2500 or more but not in 1-2 years, it still needs quite a lot of time to reach that price

I cannot underestimate ETH, it's a major coin also like Bitcoin, although lower in value compared to bitcoin.
When altcoins rally, it should be headed by ETH, so just like we are not expecting for Bitcoin to rise this fast, we have to give a possibility that ETH can moon as well. It will be a new ATH and it would be nice to see because I believe sooner Bitcoin might also break it's own ATH.

No chance. What is this Ethereum? It's a fuel for smart contracts. But who want to make own actions by so expensive price? I think traders and miners are interested only in the high price. And nobody more. Because of fuel shouldn't be expensive. It makes any development harder. And too many dummies begins to think about own islands instead of work

Well, it is all speculation anyway. But it is possible for etherium to still reach the $2500. Probably next year or subsequent years. With interest from the big tech guys in etherium/crypto related projects, etherium could even get past that figure. It will take some time. For now, i think the market is still recovering and giving signal of going more bullish soon. Fingers crossed!

Let's see if the experts are correct, price of ETH may rise but from it's current price now, it will take a longer time before it will breach its ATH.
Bitcoin is pumping again, we might witness the price in the $8000 soon but ETH is still having a hard time to break that $200 completely.
We have a big target but we can also take time, relax, and wait, it will not die, it will continue to work as a project and will surely increase in the long run.

The most realistic is that can hit 500 usd within 2019 and this only if the Eth adoption will be safe and no related to Ico scam projects
