I doubt it, specially now that it ain't really performing well in the market, to think that almost all altcoins are using the Ethereum, the demand is really high but the value ain't really improving at all. I don't know whats wrong but I hope that it can recover to the way it was or even better.
Ethereum has really high demand. It's the 2nd biggest crypto with 2billion dollars of daily trading volume. We aren't talking about some low volume shitcoin. Eth is a major player and everywhere I go that accepts crypto it is either btc or eth and nothing else.
Exactly. With all the buzz surrounding Ethereum, there's more to it than meets the eye. It can be used for practically anything you could imagine, being its top use the launch of ICO tokens. Since the "Ether" cryptocurrency of the Ethereum platform is used as GAS for executing smart contracts, it'll experience high demand in the market for sure. Of course, its price has been on a downfall, just like Bitcoin, since the whole market follow the pioneer cryptocurrency's footsteps.
However, once Bitcoin rises in value back again, then Ethereum will rise in value too, probably surpassing its ATH of $1,000+ last year. The key here is to buy ETH while it's still cheap before it upgrades to Casper PoS. Because once this happens, ETH will become more scalable and cheaper in fees than ever before. Effectively, this will produce a surge in price as there will be FOMO across the cryptocurrency market. However, it's necessary to be patient to expect good results with our ETH investment. The ethereum is undoubtedly a strong and promising coin. I really like this project. It is used by hundreds of ICO projects. But this year I'm not sure that the price of the etherium will be able to rise to 2500$. It will be very hard to do.

$2500 for ethereum is not impossible, given the value of the smart contract and the on going development. I believe it will reach that price or even more , time will come.

Very true that Ethereum as commonly described, is the next big thing to happen but as regarding it's value I don't see reaching even one thousand this year. Possible next year? And I say absolutely. Right now it's trading at 200+ which is the lowest since the beginning of this year. I quite agree with the analysis that the market set for a real bullish state in last two months of the year, extending to next year.
Well maybe 5 years from now this could hit that higher price. If you look on the price that we have today this is impossible to reach this year or even next year.
