Can anyone prove this "IBM Adept" is still in development?  Paul Brody, who was head of the project, resigned and hasn't worked at IBM since December and does nothing with Ethereum anymore.  I can't seem to find any details or updates about IBM Adept except from really old articles, press releases written by Ethereum staff or posts from Ethereum Developers.

https://www.linkedin.com/in/pbrody

When the last real updates were from January 2015, I am assuming by now IBM Adept has been canned or shutdown.

There's only 13 working demos and most of the stuff on this list we've already seen from NXT and Bitshares and other projects.  Will illegal gambling and illegal crowdfunding apps produce mass adoption?  Probably not as they're reinventing the wheel when there's sites like GoFundMe and online gambling everywhere.   The rest of this list is vaporware or abandoned projects.

There was interest.  But I think it's in limbo right now.  They'll probably get back to it, but it's not a priority for them I think.

Both IBM and Samsung did a live demonstration of ADEPT in February 2015 of this year https://youtu.be/U1XOPIqyP7A it is a POC so don't expect to see regular updates on it.  Just because someone left the company does not mean the POC is cancelled.  IBM have been known in the past to work on 20 year projections.

ADEPT is based on the internet of things concept.  Mckinzie and Co's recent report on IoT predicts the market to be worth 4 trillion to 25 trillion dollars by 2025

http://www.mckinsey.com/insights/business_technology/the_internet_of_things_the_value_of_digitizing_the_physical_world

Before talking fud please do your research. IoT is not going away and will rely on blockchain tech and smart contracts.

I would suggest everyone read up on this.  Ethereum and smart contracts are the most disruptive innovations since Bitcoin.   Vitalik Buterin is indeed a true prodigy

Seems Ethereum is heading towards Mega coin status. Why do all these alts just fade to oblivion??

So can anyone confirm if IBM adept is still around or not?  With recent proof. Doesn't seem so if Paul Brody no longer works at IBM.

Isn't this some sort of marketing fraud Ethereum is committing?  Is it really legal to advertise a canned project using your product and/or service?  A lawyer could argue this is misleading advertisement.  Why does it seem like everything in crypto is a scam?

put it this way ethoream trying to pack everything into one package but it end up bulky and messy.

Yeah, not clean like bitcoin with all the trusted third party applications that you have to trust in order to do some of the simplest Bitcoin2.0 fun times

now come to my other question, is ethoream centralized or decentralized? decentralized mean everything is pack/store into a blockchain and wallet, if the data was to store somewhere else then this meant it's centralized. if say ethoream is centralized then this shit should be worth nothing.

The blockchain is a distributed data structure, it's not centralized. There is no central authority or central authoritative copy of the blockchain.

Ethereum having a single blockchain (rather than multiple blockchains) allows contracts to communicate with each other, applies all the network's processing power to maintaining the security of a

single blockchain rather than fragmenting it altcoin-style and ensures that the code and data people wish to use is maintained by the network rather than again fragmenting that effort.

I told you to find the answers yourself!

NextGenCrypto... do you see why it is not an Alt?

you didn't answer my question, you answer blockchain question. i didn't ask about blockchain question.

Like I said, it's been fun trolling your noob ass.  Some day you'll learn how things work around here.

You've been trolled.   Kiss

How much money have you made this week? Now I am posturing. Hehehe.

We are both losers, but I am loser who made a shitload of money this week. Guess I am not a loser when it counts... huh? Lmao!

Better to be trolled, than rolled!

I actually had a pretty good week myself on a few different coins.  It's a good time for the alt scene, eh?

I know you don't know who AnonyMint is. He is one of the brightest minds in this space.

That is a fact. And everybody else reading right now, also knows you don't know.

Who are you?

Ethereum started trading 2 days ago and the price is already collapsing 80%!

Are you thinking about buying Ethereum? - Don't, Stay out!

Do you have ethereum from the pre-sale? - Dump them as soon as you can!

During the past 2 days around 1 Million ethereum coins were dumped, this made the price collapse by 80% so far, now consider this:

- The IPO was not publicly and officially announced - They did this on purpose so their inner group or closests friends could dump first. (There is no info about exchanges on their website)

- On the pre-sale back in 2014, 60 Million coins were sold, or in other words, 60 million coins were PRE-MINED, and they are pretty much the total supply of today - you can check more details about the pre-sale here: http://ether.fund

- In the past 2 days only around 1% of the pre-sale coins were sold

Now you have to ask yourselves:

If a coin which was 100% PRE-MINED, gets a silent IPO which it was not even officially announced, only 1% of the pre-sale buyers know about it (or not even), only 1% of the supply gets dumped, and the price collapses by 80%?

Now what will happen when the IPO is officially announced with the rest of the 60 Million coins ready to be dumped???

Also, an interesting video: http://youtube.com/watch?v=IN-QpuXIJtM

Their official website: http://ethereum.org
Exchange: http://kraken.com - pair ETH/XBT (ETH/BTC)

you are a newbie account.

That is exceptionally perceptive of you to spot....I would never in a million years.....LOL

It couldn't be helped

haha, you have no idea with who you are talking to.

You are like this guy. A nobody. A guy who postures like a teenager. Lmao!

Agreed! We are both nobody!

Vitalik is somebody though! He won the top TECH AWARD ON THIS PLANET!

Who are you?

Oh that's right... a guy who doesn't know AnonyMint.

NextGenCrypto... you are just a kid.

You have no idea what this place is all about.

You obviously don't know AM, so you have no experience. Which makes you a noob. And noobs opinions mean fuck All!

Exposed! Lmao!

And that statement just proves your ignorance.  Thank you.

FYI - everything you have stated is an opinion.  You are also a noob, hence nobody giving a fuck about what you have to say either.

It was fun wasting your time though, later bitch!

Everybody knows AnonyMint... everybody!

He has been around here for years.

And you don't know?

What else don't you know?

Why are we listening to a kid with no experience?  Grin

One more question... who is AnonyMint? Lmao!

EXPOSED!

EDIT: I feel like I am kicking a puppy right now. I have to stop. When the guy is down, he is down. Bye little guy. Hope I didn't embarrass you too much.

If you take a step back and think about it, you're actually pretty fucking pathetic.  You're trying to make fun of someone because you THINK they don't know who someone else is rather than providing any real facts to back up your shit talk.  The fact of the matter is that you have no clue who I am or what I know.  THAT is SAD and PATHETIC and at this point I honestly just feel sorry for you that this is what you have to spend your time on.  There are other ways to end your pain...

NextGenCrypto... we are waiting. Who is he? Everybody knows, and you don't? Lmao!!!!!

Yeah, I am a moron!

Hey, here is a video where the guy who says it's not an Alt WON THE TOP TECH AWARD ON THE PLANET! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5FDvzj8YX4&feature=youtu.be&t=4m19s

And some little troll, who doesn't even know who is AnonyMnit says otherwise. Lmao!!!!

If it's not BTC, it's an "alt".  That's where the term "alt" came from.

Also, just curious, what section is it you're posting in right now?

Hint: "Altcoin Discussion"

Answer the question noob! Who is AnonyMint?

Did you look at the video?

Do you see the part where the guy who was awarded the TOP TECH AWARD ON THE PLANET... describes why it isn't an Alt?

Who are you?

Some little turd who postures like a teenager?

Pathetic!

So, why is it in the "Altcoin Discussion" on the largest crypto BB?  Cmon smartass....

Where's your reply?  Reading?

NextGenCrypto... who is he? Tell us expert.

Did I chase you off? Maybe he is researching? Well, at least he is reading. That's a start.

You're not even a good troll.  If you're going to try to insult someone at least put some effort into it.

Maybe once you've been around longer than 6 days you'll get it, but again, I doubt it.

Good job looking up a name.  It's tough in this day and age.
