I think it's real news, not just hoaxes or speculation. The price of ethereum can be seen in all altcoin exchangers. All traders and investors must know that the ethereum will go down. Looking at the less stable market conditions, the price of bitcoin as the largest altcoin plays an important role in cryptocurrency, the price also decreases, certainly in the near future the price of ethereum and other altcoin will also go down. Thus, the decline in the price of ethereum is not just a hoax or mere speculation, but really the circumstances that will happen. It's even happening right now. thank you

ethereum is in a falling trend since it saw 0.12btc levels, and it still is. I remember in Spring 2017 when ethereum is 0.15btc and it falled down to 0.02btc. I guess a similar downtrend is happening and this is not related with any news. We all must know that market is swinging between two poles: all time high and all time low. This is same for almost every coin, just look at weekly charts.

I see a lot of negativity about this coin las days. But, despite this, my faith in ETH is strong. I don't believe that this coin can depreciate. Most likely the price fell due to the general fall of the crypto market. ETH does not have a worthy replacement yet.
Very good voices and it make sense. There is no need to panic as everything should go back up. Hope market stabilizes soon. One of the leading platform for smart contracts, dApps and ICOs as what I understand ETH has tons to go.

I agree that a worthy replacement is not there yet (even though neo is quite close and eos is also making its steps forward). Eth is still rather strong, but I also understand why people don't like it. With eth you can never be sure your money is safe and that you want wake up one day with your money eternally frozen, like all those people on parity.
As for the drop, though, I think it is very temporary and natural, as the whole market went down. I am sure we won't see eth going down more than to $600.

Wondering - should I hold or sell Ethers... Any (knowledge/experience based) thoughts?

you shouldn't really ask others questions like this. everyone is going to give you a biased answer. if they hold any of it and wish it to go up, they will never tell you to sell and if they don't but want to buy it they will tell you to sell!

in the end you must analyze the market yourself. what i see is a huge bubble for this coin which needs bursting and each time there is a big drop a lot of people panic sell crashing its price more and more in the long run.

Today the price of ETH went up again. I think that ETH will repeat the bitcoin movement. ETH can't go against the general market movement. But I'm sure that soon the growth will begin.
No, Ethereum is not catching up with bitcoin's price. When Bitcoin was around $10,000, ETH was around $1000 after the second crash now Bitcoin came up so the way to $9800 but still ethereum is at $730.

Do not sell it, you will regret it later as I did in 2017. Hold is the best pluck today ether will recover and this is only part of the fundamentals going on, do not panic by looking at the current market value of friends.

That I see the jumps not only on the Eth for a short time, it's just a correction, but it seems it dragged on for a long time. Will there be an exit, many will say yes, but when no one answers.

many of today's causes of Ethereum are falling in price and open only Ethereum just as many other coins are experiencing the same thing.
there are people who say this is the effect of Dump.
but my advice is better to hold back on this just temporarily because as far as I know ETH is the most stable and easy coin to back green

I don't think it is speculation, it is downtrend market. Everything is going to rise again but everytime this happens market consolidates and becomes stronger.

I think you have nothing to worry about. If you are not an active trader, keep the Etherium in long, just get distracted. Relax for a couple of weeks by the sea.
Exactly, crypto is normally doing its behavior according to its supply and demand. So, maybe for now there is so much supply that is circulating in the market. The best way is to hold the coins until it will increased its value.

By the way, note who said about the dependence of how the ether behaves and how bitcoin. This is still a small correction, so do not worry, the price is a little frightening for sale, you can lose a lot, so I would bribe the other way.

The whole market is moving together at the moment. Most price changes have nothing to do with the merits of a particular project.
For me ETH is a long term hold. I would say now is not the time to sell.

I do not think that is speculation, because ethereum is one of the top altcoin with a huge investor and extends all over the world. With a relatively stable price, making Ethereum a lot of people. Since ethereum launches its own platform, ethereum is getting better day by day, so the price is always stable even increases. Although there has been an issue that keeps the price of ethereum down, but it only happens temporarily, after which the price of ethereum returns to normal. thank you

now I want to ask, do you get a profit if you sell it?
my advice is to hold on and wait for the right time to buy back.
