Topic: Etherum. Correction or long term downtrend (Read 249 times)
Some say that Ethereum has reached its peak valuation and it will be a downturn from now on and this is because of the fact that it has shared its Blockchain and bound its smart contract with a majority of the failing icos which has lead it to loose consumer trust.
I suppose that ETH is a long term project because it is developing despite of its dips. The common trends show the increasing so it’s just a long term trend.
This is the beginning of 2018, the uptrend is still very long time, you should invest it for its long-term investment.
It is not clear whether the ethereum is under correction or its the downtrend. Going through the growth levels it is clear that the price fall of ethereum is taking place almost in a mutual manner along with the bitcoin. This is quite a varied experience compared to the past market situation. As the market of bitcoin has begun to progress can expect ethereum to grow along with it.
Who would conclude this is a correction or long-term downtrend? The answer is I don't think there is anyone because I personally will not say anything on that yet. We have to wait and see if it's correction or long-term downtrend but I keep holding and buying more, I believe in the coin though
Eth will follow btc when the bull run starts back up. We'll see bitcoin over 10k and eth back over 1k in no time.
It's just the pump only and must remain wary. up to now it is back down to a worse position. so I think for this time don't rush to sell. hold as long as possible and if possible then buy that still can afford to purchase. It was the best that could be done.
If you didn't sale eth yet its better to hold it , propbable one or more year already. eth will grow but slowly I think.
I do not agree with you, it seems, that now is the bottom of the year and we shoul see the run by the end of the year.
If it will not heppen, then we will se rapid growth during the beggining of 2019.
The overall crypto marketcap has shrinked and most of the coins are experiencing price fall. This is a correction after a massive rise last year. I choose to hold.
I think the ethereum is really suitable for long term investment since the services they have raise more income that can be used by them to fund their goals and wants they want to be in future.
Besides Bitcoin, during the past week, we saw Etherum also dip seriously against the dollar, breaking previous supports and moving as low as 530; Is this just Etherum making a correction or should we expect more moves to the downside. HODL or Sell?? 
I think it's a downturn, before the crypto market begins to grow. As they say, this is a calm before the storm. We need to wait a bit and the market will grow again.
Just a correction. Keep holding. Be patient. The next bull run is about to start soon. If not an investor yet, get some at below $500 while you stil can. 
I'll vote for HODL, because I'm sure in the future, the price of ethereum will go up, probably going beyond what he accomplished in the first quarter of this year, we just need to stay patient and wait quietly

100% of the market is controlled by bitcoin and ETH is no exceptions. Therefore, the price of ETH can not increase. If bitcoin is increased, then ETH and Altcoin can increase. That is my opinion
The decline is only temporary. Ethereum is the most valuable product in the next two years. do not panic.

This is normal considering the fact that the market is going down as well. I am sure that investors are expecting it to go down. It is painful to see ETH go down below $500 especially if you already invested before the dump. Hodling is the best thing that we can for now. If you still have capital, you can buy some more while the price is low. Sell it by the time that you can earn and do panic selling.

I hope the developers implement all their ideas and the project will be followed by success, which will lead to further growth in the price of ETH. It remains to be hoped that by the time when the project will begin to complete the main stages of its roadmap and launch its ecosystem on the blockchain of ethereum - Vitalik and the team will be ready to provide a ready solution.
I think that ethereum itself is just following the price trend of bitcoin right now just like all other altcoins, there is no way to tell if this will be a continous downtrend because if you remember correctly, we have been here before and then the price recover so much that the price of bitcoin was actually just shy of 10k, so like always we would have to wait and see.
