Hi folks,

Just stumbled on an interesting on-chain gambling site, you can directly bet ETH using your MetaMask wallet, without depositing funds  Shocked

https://ethgames.fun/pokerdice.html
https://ethgames.fun/twodices.html

They offer x50 times your initial bet
Have fun.

No deposit seems to make no sense to me. How is it possible that you can place a bet while you don't have to make any deposit?
Also, please guide us. Are you the owner of this website? If not, how can we trust this site while it's new to the market?

Each roll is a transaction that has the bet. if you win, you get the reward within the same transaction. You don’t need to deposit in advance.

Now the games are also on binance smart chain where the fees are much lower.
Also it seems that they integrated walletvonnect where more than 140 web3 wallets are supported, so metamask isn’t a must

I see many wrong statements here that connecting wallets is dangerous. This isn’t true, this is how dapps work.

Of course, people can not always trust the connection of their MetaMask to various sites, that's why it's better not to use your main wallet for this, so as not to lose it if you connect to a phishing site that copies the true one, and if this does happen, then in no case enter a seed phrase, which is never required by legitimate sites.

It is a big NO. You are like giving access to you metamask wallet. It is good that you don’t need to deposit (less time) but the risk is quite high. The site doesn’t look nice to me, a better interface will bring gamblers to you.

I suggest not to sign your metamask if you all guys wants to be safe.

Indeed, it is very risky if we connect our wallets to certain casino sites.
What's more, there is a lack of information about the casino site and we ourselves don't really know whether the site can be trusted and can be relied upon to ensure the safety of every user on it.
It would be better if we go in and learn how the casino works first in some time so that it is even more convincing for us to contact the wallet to the site.
Don't let us be tricked into entering a scam site and losing all of our money just because we don't make a deposit at a casino site.
Many people will say the same thing. No one in their right mind wouldn't say that giving a platform or a gambling site access to your wallet when the gambling site itself is not yet proven to be trusted and soon reputable site then your wallet is for as long as they won't scam their players. That's why some gamblers prefer gambling to a gambling site that is not on-chain knowing that they funds are safe (gambling sites that are reputable, trusted, legit and many people know about it in bitcointalk forum.

1. I agree, but we does not have any evidence that he owns or has any connection with the  website. But to me it really seems that he actively shilling it.
2. I am well knowledgeable of how the betting with a wallet works, but I think it's not the same with depositing. What I understand is that with this process, the winnings will be directly credited to your wallet (e.g., Metamask), on the other hand, on deposit process, you need to request a withdrawal first (remember that some casinos are fraud).

1.Your post looks as if you are promoting this website. You have to disclose any connection with the websites you are posting here.
2. Isn't betting directly from your Metamask wallet and depositing funds basically the same? I mean that it doesn't matter how your deposit the funds, what matters is will you get paid when you win. Grin
3. This "x50 times your initial bet" looks sketchy as hell. I really wish some big and trusted crypto casino to offer such "50 times your initial bet" bonus, but this simply won't happen, because the casino would lose a lot of money, if some random gambler placed a winning bet.

Is this website yours? Sounds suspicious to me, why theres no deposits required? Does it mean that your wallet will be deducted in your every bet? Sounds a no-no to me, also there no enough info on the site even the "Rules" page sounds confusing and the site looks like rushed.
I strongly agree with this very statement of yours, because mere looking at the site alone, it looks confusing, and I really don't know where to start from, and secondly, hearing we don't need to deposit but could bet through direct linking of our Metamask wallet, makes it look more suspicious to me. So my advice to anyone who wishes to use this site should be very careful, and please don't deposit more than you intend to use for gambling on the "Metamask" wallet intended to use for this.

The interface design was too simple and not attractive, it needs more improvement to attract a lot of gamblers to play in their platform.
Aside from that, I was wondering why dice game only? just asking.

Second, I am suggesting op to do gain trust first for the sake of the community here in the forum, since Op is promoting it here
in this platform anyway.

Didn’t even bother to look at the site after reading most of the comments here, I don’t know if this is just a new site or they don’t really have those information since then. If this site is legit, better to listen to most of the comments here, try to input the terms and be more transparent since this is decentralized. Though connecting your wallet into this site might not affect you that much, just remember that you should not give any private keys to this site or else you are doomed.
I am fully aware of that but I did check the site that's why I agree with most many of the comments here that they don't have much information about their site. I also don't want to connect my wallet to that site knowing that the site is suspicious and the one who posted the site also mentioned that op came across this site made me thinking that op could be shilling this site. Thanks for the heads uo but I am already cautious from that site after reading some comments here.

According to this thread https://ethereum.stackexchange.com/questions/110704/what-happens-when-you-connect-wallet-to-website connecting metamask to website isn’t do much. It is giving access to ethereum node to get history, account balances, contract states, all this information is available also on etherscan explorer.
That's about DEXs. However, connecting your web3 wallet to an unknown site could lead to your funds being stolen.

Have you ever heard about wallet drainers? This is a few lines of JavaScript code that first asks you to connect your wallet and then it'll ask you for spending permission once you give that permission/click on "Allow" your funds will be transferred to the scammer's wallet. ( many people have lost their funds in this scam)

Better if the site is audited, else, don't simply interact with it just because it has no deposit required. Most gambling dApps don't necessarily need deposit in the first place because you need to connect with it and won't asked deposits. Wallet drainers are not new in the first place but it's really not that easy to spot one.

Lots of people never been aware on this because they do believe that whenever they do connect out their metamask and as long they arent making transactions or doesnt expose their keys or phrases then they cant really be hacked or scammed. Its true that if you arent really that too mindful about those permissions which you do always accept nor allow it then you would really be having the high chance on getting hacked.
If we do look closely which this one is clearly suspicious.Who would be the one would make up some log in on their MM on an html page? This isnt how a decentralized casino or platform do work
on or how it do functions. Therefore, people should really be that careful on logging in their metamask and trying out to confirm some permissions.

The site indeed doesn't have enough information which will make people suspicious about it. I wouldn't connect my wallet into the site as it is very risky. This is what makes on-chain gambling site risky especially if it's new or less information though on-chain doesn't require deposit which is a good start but it doesn't mean we can trust it right away. Looks like it's not just me who are being cautious about the site since we can't find more information about the site especially its TOS.

No one should take this thread seriously as ops have abandoned the thread and all the questions thrown at him, the thread title is wrong and even the service ops promote does not look legit to me and i suggest we all keep away from such huge risk casino by not cinnecting our metamadk wallet to it.

When he brought a newly created casino here, everyone threw various questions at Op. Connecting personal wallets to these websites is definitely risky, so it's important to be cautious. I can't even think of connecting my wallet to this website. Because some people are trying to take advantage by using different tactics, this is a risky time to try something new. It is safe to stay away from this casino.

Probably a Decentralized gambling site where you only need to connect your wallet, there are site like this slready and the only issue here is the other terms for this site so better to read everything about this site before playing, and if you can’t see anything then probably something is going on with this site and yes be more cautious.

It is obvious, you don't need to move your coins or token because their site is already connected to your wallet.  so every time you bet, the amount wagered is deducted directly to your fund and when it wins, the reward is also directly sent to your fund.  That is the beauty of the web3 application.  But the downside is that if the site is a hacking site, it will drain your fund because you have given authority to the site to access your wallet directly.  So better be careful and make sure that the site is trusted or reputable enough before you entrust the access to your wallet.

The title of the thread is like clickbait and actually what the OP meant is this is not a normal casino we usually see there is a deposit button and you have to send some money to that deposit address
but this casino is like decentralized using web3 and you only connect a wallet that has some ETH to play directly using their smart contract it's the same as you pay the transaction fee directly every time you start playing, to be honest, the ETH transaction fee is still quite expensive and make sure to play at the casino decentralized which of course has audited smart contracts
Just like OWL casino which have been around the forum for a while now and has built a good reputation for itself, unlike this one that has no visibility or review so how can we trust them with our wallet as connecting the wallet to the casino automatically give the site access to the wallet. So I do better advise everyone to stay safe and act with caution with this kind of new casino. I have played on owl web3 casino on one or two occasions and I can see the. Wallet connection and playing using your balance are almost the same as sending money to a regular casino and playing on them.
I've heard of OWL casino in this forum but never played there, maybe next time I'll visit it, anyway I didn't see anything interesting about this casino maybe because they use ETH network and it's still relatively new, so they need positive feedback to be able to get sympathy from the community in this forum of course
