Ok, thank you for the help.

My other pc with the 7970 is ok with about 18 MH/s. But I can't get more than 2 MH/s with my GTX 670... Maybe because of Windows 10 even with 347.52 and cuda 6.5? The pool doesn't even see the worker!

I think 670 should do 8-10 mHashes

Thanks for the info!

I'am now getting 4 MH/s with a fresh install of the latest drivers and cuda 7.5 on WIn10 and the worker is seen by the pool. I've tested a lot of settings and overclock but I can't seem to go much higher than 4.5MH/s. I guess I should try on Win7 or Ubuntu but I don't really want to install a dual boot now.

Win10 could very well be the cause. I know GK104 GPUs hash fine on Ubuntu. Not sure about Win7.

Haha ok, thanks for the explanations!

Also what kind of performance should I expect from a GTX 670 2GB? Unfortunately I'm on Win10. I've tried downgrading to 347.52 using the cuda 6.5 miner but I only have either 1 or 2 Mh/s (quite strange behavior). Does this seems correct:
Code:
ethminer.exe -S eu1.ethermine.org:4444 --farm-recheck 2000 -O 0xe63b45d2f0c5fc089e42ea6805b9b8c9fe443d99.P8Z77V -U -R "D:\Program Files\Geth\ethereum\DAG" --cl-global-work 8192 --cl-local-work 128

Overclocking doesn't seem to affect the hashrate. I also have a 7970 on another PC but I haven't finished downloading the blockchain there.

I don't know about the 670, I guess around 10MH/s?

You don't need to download the blockchain for pool mining.

Hello, when I use this command: "-R E:\Crypto\DagETH", the CPU load is 50%. When I remove it, it's 0,5%. The problem is that my drive C is almost full and I want to change the DAG folder in drive E, but this 50% CPU load is a big problem. Undecided
What CPU are you using?

AMD Phenom II X2 560 @ 3.6GHz.

Yeah, very low-end dual core CPU, that makes sense.
I'm afraid you'll need a more capable CPU to accommodate the miner.

What is the -E bench and -Z 1335005 options in the default .bat file?

You don't need this options. You can skip both of them.

DAG file management:
Code:
-E bench erase all DAG files older than current epoch but keep epoch 0 for benchmarking

Simulation mode:
Code:
-Z [],--simulation [] Mining test mode. Used to validate kernel optimizations. Optionally specify block number.

Heyy guys,

What is the -E bench and -Z 1335005 options in the default .bat file? And the -O 0xeXXXX is the adress to mine stratum without proxy?

First time mining ETH. Thanks

if I want to open the 1.0.7 zip, my virus scanner (Avast) alerts:
ethminer.exe > Win64:Malware-gen
?

Yes my AVG also alerts me occasionally about my own bins. Nothing to worry about. But if you don't trust it, just build from source Smiley

I have SAPPHIRE NITRO Radeon R9 380X 4G D5.

I use ethminer-0.9.41-genoil-1.0.4b3

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
C:\Mine\ethminer107\ethminer.exe --farm-recheck 2000 -G -F http://127.0.0.1:8080/dw1 --cl-local-work 256 --cl-global-work 16384

And i have 20.9 m/s.

What settings can i change to improve that result?

What's the hashrate of 970's with latest realase? We should run with cuda or open cl?

19-20 MH/s--

Depending on clock rates, etc, a GTX 970 will meet or beat an AMD 280/380 card and use less energy.       --scryptr

That is right. But your are comparing a new GPU with 3 year old GPU. 970 is much more expensive.

Nice to see this now supports custom DAG file location was bugging me as filling main drive up with storage now can use my main 1TB drive for this. Loving the updates keep em coming. Maybe some more updates maybe to have a bit of a layout or status that it has on cgminer like total submitted shares total hash rejected and no millions of data flying by maybe 2 or 3 line and have option to send to background Smiley

i've reached 66 mega with 500w for 3x 970, pretty good, better than amd
