For me ethereum is not the king of the crypto but the king of altcoin world because for me the king of crypto is bitcoin because bitcoin is the oldest coins and the most popular coins in the crypto world.
Hello Folk, is it the time for ethreum to lead from the front ? As bitcoin is going through rough ride along with other altcoins but ethreum is turning out to be more stable platform for investment and also new ICO's are based on ethreum. Do you think Ethreum will dethrone bitcoin from 1st rank of crypto this year?
in the world of Cryptocurrency there is nothing impossible.
Ethereum could have dominated the price by being the most expensive. because a lot of Ethereum factors can be expensive. among them are many ICOs attached to the Ethereum network.
but I'm sure for now Bitcoin still superior because I see from the total supply Bitcoin less and less.
crypto currency is a coin that is loved by the ethereum on the stock exchange and accepted all over the world. it gets stronger every day. Now the king is the greatest candidate to become king in the future.

No. I think that bitcoin will not give up its positions for several years. now it is on the 1st place in the ranking of cryptocurrencies in the world. and soon it there will remain at it simply there are no serious competitors not in the price not in quantity of people who bought it.

I'm also a fanatic of Ethereum, but this year, alas, it will not surpass bitcoin. Because he just doesn't have enough time. Ethereum differs in that it does not make sharp jumps, but slowly grows and is fixed on each position.

This is still a far fetched idea as ETH right now is not even that close to BTC. Given that it can withstand the dump and pump of BTC compared to other coins still being labelled as a "KING'is still far from reality. Nevertheless, ETH is a solid investment. Just like how sure we are to gain profit from BTC, That goes also for Etherium.
I agree with you that ethereum is the best number 2 of altcoin besides bitcoin. and also the ethereum of a good future. so we do not hesitate to get a lot of ethereum now by surviving in the long run.
No,the king of crypto is still old Bitcoin but Etherium is the prince,so if bitcoin suddenly dies,Etherium will replace it on the top of market.

Ethereum is working very good and fast but still require many time to become that expensive like bitcoin. Bitcoin have enough trust of people and that's why have extreamly high demand.

I think ethereum will be king for altcoin course based on ERC20 maybe others will not be able to follow ethereum, because bitcoin will be king itself because the parent bitcoin of all altcoin.
I've always believed in ETH, with so many ERC20 token using ETH, it's always had a possibility of making a good run at some point.
I sincerely hope ETH can be fully implemented into everyday use one day, it has the foundations and its moving forward rapidly. But the eth will not soon be able to overthrow king Olympus bitcoin, but his well-deserved second place he will not lose.

This is mostly caused because of ICOs, i think that if there were not any icos at all, the entire ethereum marketcap would be zero, because the only utility that eth has are the smart contracts + icos that are stablished in there.

Is the ability to provide fast and reliable smart contracts seems not enough? This can contribute to so many spheres and businesses, that only that I reckon would easily provide long life for ETH. Moreover, its' reputation is much better that that of BTC, there is well known team behind it, everything is transparent
I do not think this is going to happen in the near future, because bitcoin is still the king of this market and still remains in the first place. Although the etherium is a good platform and many projects are connected to it and new enough to be added every day, but it will take a lot of time to reach the level of bitcoin.

Ethereum coin does really have the potential but since altcoins is based on bitcoins prices then there is no way for altcoins to replace bitcoins even in the futre.
