The Internet has provided a new portal for narcotics customers and suppliers to gain access to illicit drugs, says the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA). According to a research report by the organization, Dark Net Market (DNM) usage is rising in popularity.

Dark Net Markets Are Growing Exponentially and Overcoming Intervention

EMCDDAThe Deep web has become a breeding ground for illicit activity and unusual content, says the EMCDDA’s recent research paper. According to the group, a lot of the attention given to this hidden section of the Internet has been directed at online marketplaces that play an important role in criminal activity, “particularly with respect to sales of new psychoactive substances.”

This has been ongoing since the beginning of the dark net. Websites like Silk Road which enabled users to sell everything they could think of without limiting the content at all have been pioneers in such activity since then so this news is nothing new. I agree that a lot of new marketplaces are born every day and their number has grown to more than 99 the last time I checked before a few days. There is even a Silk Road 3 dark market in which you can pay 0.13 btc as a fee to become a vendor and can sell all kind of illegal things there.

All the persons who sell porn accounts like Brazzers etc in the digital section for cheap get their accounts from this kind of marketplaces. Same with Hulu, Netflix etc all accounts are bought there for cheap and they sell here for just a fraction of profit.
