I'm possibly going to try and get a site up in the near future, so in the event bitcointalk.org ever goes down again everyone can still get in contact, and check the status etc....

Alternatively/as a temporary measure, reddit.com/r/bitcoin or a subreddit, such as the one setup by DZ.

Hey everyone,

Finally the forum is back up Grin

Don't quote me on this, hopefully beastlymac can pop into the thread and clarify.

As far as I'm aware after speaking with him the PCBs are manufactured in China and there was a Chinese holiday at the start of the month which delayed shipment of those slightly, on top of that beastlymac initially wasn't able to contact the bitfury team because of the forums down time. All of which put this project behind schedule slightly. I was told at very worst they would ship by the middle of the month to myself and the other resellers.

Sorry its not the news you all wanted to hear, but the wait shouldn't be that much longer.
Yep Chinese holidays have caused some issues with pcb availability. Everything is ordered and inbound to fabrication.

Each importer from China knows about Chinese holiday. You probably not, I dont understand...

packaging all these deliveries, It will be like christmas at your place.

Still taking orders then?  Cheesy  I would still like to add another to my order, but obviously I couldn't while the forum was down.  I can pay this evening (Bitcoin-QT is on my laptop now, which is at home, off).

I'll speak with beastlymac about adding a few more Wink no promises this second.

Is the operation delayed because of the down time of the forum ?

I don't think the forum being down has any impact on manufacturing. The latest news is they are now expected next week, due to holidays in China. I would have expected that the holidays were already a known factor  Roll Eyes

List should be up to date, if anyone sees anything wrong let me know, asap Smiley

Less than 18 hours to go!

I have only paid for 3 so far. I still need to pay you for 2 before deadline. You have put me as 5 paid. Which isn't correct. I can pay for it now. But I am doing so well trading with the btc for the 2. I might be able to get more than 2 tomorrow. Fingers cross.  Grin
