In a way predicting what will happen during this year is very difficult, after all you are right, if the 4 year cycle repeats itself then the price should go down even more during this year, however the bull run that we experimented was not as spectacular as the one we saw before and with the strong influence of institutional investors it is difficult to believe that we could see such a drop when they will most likely defend the price of bitcoin, as it is not on their best interests that it drops so much.
I don't believe Bitcoin will go down if Bitcoin after 4 years will repeat itself, based on my observation and based on the fundamental analysis, Bitcoin has gained too much trust by investors and many companies has been adopting Bitcoin as of now and in fact, few countries have been fully legalized Bitcoin.  With this adoption, I don't think Bitcoin will go down too much by this year.

For this year, Bitcoin might have corrections but not below under $30k and I believed that Bitcoin will create another ATH this year which I don't know the exact time frame, all I know is being positive on the Bitcoin price.

I can afford the luxury that I don't care too much about what will happen by the end of this year when it comes to prices, as well as any long-term holder. Since we do not know whether the 4-year cycle will be repeated, we can speculate that a correction of at least 70% may occur, which would position the price just above $21k, but also that this cycle will not be repeated.

For me personally, anything above $30k is positive and should not be considered bad, and any new ATH above $70k is welcome. Although Bitcoin still has high volatility, price movements by the end of this year may bring us to the same point we are at today - I know many will be disappointed if that happens, but Bitcoin is much more than a money factory as many imagine.

OP, optimism is the most important thing for any bitcoin trader or holder. But we also need to consider what the future holds in terms of good and bad market conditions. We are in a very volatile market, if you are a gold hand holder then never let go of your bitcoins at any price before you hit your target. I'm not a holder, but I hope by the end of 2022 we can get a decent return on the bitcoin we have.

The market will know this in advance and prepare and a mass sell off might happen.
We need to take this into account as it might have an impact on the market, so we need to be prepared for whatever happens in the future with bitcoin.

In the course of Bitcoin during 2021, we have seen many extraordinary changes taking place, both in terms of price and adoption that we never expected. This success shows that the existence of Bitcoin is taken into account by the big countries.

We have all benefited from Bitcoin (to be honest from the bottom of our hearts), during this one year what have you accomplished? You have? and you achieve it all there is a service that is not physical, but with great value. Well, the role of Bitcoin in it.

What I want to say is, what are the expectations for 2022 regarding Bitcoin's existence? And you have the right to say so here. Your expectations, and what you have not achieved when interacting with Bitcoin. Include it in this thread, for us to re-evaluate at the end of 2022 with the same date, but with your situation much better than now.

May we be given long life and health.
Happy New Year's preparations, convey my greetings to your family there.  Cheesy
Actually, all countries need Bitcoin, it's just that many countries look for a gap to say that Bitcoin which makes resistance that endangers the Fiat currency, even though the reality is not so, almost everyone who invests in bitcoin, getting profits both large and small, this depends on the amount of our investment Do it, hopes in 2022 Bitcoin are growing and increasingly improving, so many people can use investment as a new way to work, because investment is a big keuntuntan pattern.

I think the most important event for Bitcoin in 2022 will be the distribution of the MtGox coins. From their Reddit it seems that perhaps in the summer or fall people will finally get their coins back.

Sure many will hold their coins however keep in mind that these holders owned Bitcoin when it was $1000 so they will most likely take some profit off the table.

The market will know this in advance and prepare and a mass sell off might happen.

May we be given long life and health.
Amen!

Hope is there, if possible for 2022, what we regret is when the price of Bitcoin was cheap in the previous year, because we don't believe in Bitcoin price changes and in the end we regret it when we enter the highest price in 2021.

My hope, Bitcoin in 2022, can drop to a lower price like 2021, maybe I will try to fix the failure that has haunted me, the biggest hope is to buy and keep within a certain period of time.

There is still hope to buy cheap Bitcoins in 2022. Who knows maybe we will see a bear market already in the first quarter, just like in 2017, so take that opportunity to buy cheap BTC if that happens and then hold for the next coming years.

Although we are not praying for a bearish trend, but in the crypto market it's imminent and one day it will have to come and we all be better prepared for it.

Thanks for all your wishes that have been listed in my thread. It was a very valuable and noble target. Regardless of whether it is achieved or not, we will always try to pursue it. Whatever happens, hopefully, we can review it again at the same date and time at the end of the year. Although I can't answer one by one, I still listen to everyone's expectations. Which I always agree with every time after reading it.

Bitcoin changes will always be fine. We will continue to monitor it and walk together towards greater adoption. We will later be witnesses to the history of Bitcoin from time to time.

Hope all of you, (@Pffrt, @Upgrade00l, @naira, @Congyang, @pawanjain, @COOLCRYPTOVATOR, @DaveF, @Raflesia, @michellee, @Charles-Tim, @fiulpro, @Wiwo, @wxa7115, @jossiel, @doomloop, @GreatArkansas, @Fundamentals Of, @btc_angela, @BITCOIN4X,  @Furious 7, @perfect999, @Obito, @LogitechMouse, @Yaunfitda, @Shasha80, @arwin100, @YOSHIE, @rodskee, @

for me 2022 Bitcoin will be matured and for sure very expensive than what it is right now. Because it still have a lot of supporter although there are some people saying that it's dead. But it's not nonsense and i do believe it keep improving no matter what happen in the market because indeed if it will gonna end up like that perhaps its already happened even before.. But we are not blind tho and its too good to be true.

Well I remember those days when we hit all time high in 2017 and people are saying that we will not see $10k, but alas, we even hit $3k just a year ago (March because of Covid-19) so we can't really say that x price is not going to be see again. The same that we thought $100k could be touch this year, it wasn't meant to be as the S2F model was busted big time. And I would say that $100k might not a dream for now, as I don't see it being remotely hit next year as again I have said before, we could be in a bear market.

Feels pretty recent for me too to be honest, maybe it always will because it was my first taste of a Bitcoin rally. Everything went crazy after 10k actually. The 500k predictions, the 1 million dollar predictions.

After 10k went to 11 and 12 and what not, man, 20k people were pressing everything full on. Guys took out loans, girls flocked to OF heh.

So you're right, and I always tell myself this. Anything is possible. Black Monday in 2020 made my heart leap to my mouth, and I'm sure it won't be the last time.

What I want to say is, what are the expectations for 2022 regarding Bitcoin's existence?
China will ban Bitcoin 3 more times.
Elon Musk will accept bitcoin in MARS.
PlanBTC will declare his S2F model as invalid as we have 2 more days in 2021.
What else? All other things regarding bitcoin existence will be more or less same other than a few more countries announcing it legal tender or announce as ban like my shit government. For me, it doesn't make much of change  Wink
If all this happen in 2022 , then it will be my Lucky year because i have already stocked my funds for re buying and if all this FUD happens in the year then price of Bitcoin will surely drops down to even below 20k?
damn that is my dream for next year, hope you will have a Angels tongue mate for this to become reality  Grin

I think this is still on process because up to now Only EL Salvador had formally legalized Bitcoin so this is now  a Big countries adoption.

There is always hope to see bitcoin better from various aspects ranging from adoption and also regarding pricing issues. In the short term there may not be major changes in either price or adoption, so we can still expect all of that in the longer term. 2021 went by so quickly that we left a trail of ATH and the national adoption of bitcoin in El Salvador as their primary currency, which is something that is highly expected to increase in 2022 and beyond.

Regarding the price issue, I think anything is still possible but we will never again see a price drop below $10K in 2022. So $20K to $100K in 2022 is a prediction I hope bitcoin can achieve.
Well I remember those days when we hit all time high in 2017 and people are saying that we will not see $10k, but alas, we even hit $3k just a year ago (March because of Covid-19) so we can't really say that x price is not going to be see again. This is why we should expect the unexpected since those scenario's from the past might happen these days that's why we need to have proper planning especially back up funds to used up if certain market condition occurs and recovers up. And its better for those user who bought at the top to cut loss then find better position to buy again since this is more ideal than hodling and wait for something huge pump to come.

Regarding the price issue, I think anything is still possible but we will never again see a price drop below $10K in 2022. So $20K to $100K in 2022 is a prediction I hope bitcoin can achieve.
2022 won't be a dark time like 2018 when bitcoin was lower below $10k but it means that 2022 will be another turbulent for bitcoin price that can surpass $100k to leave an ATH trail again that's what we hope for.

National adoption is some of the advantages for all of us the price of bitcoin is skyrocketing and famous so that the demand for more and more prices is higher, in 2022 it will be even bigger than 2021 where my target bitcoin is $100k for the next ATH.

As a Bitcoin supporter, I really hope that 2022 will be better than 2021. Looks like my wish can be achieved if I see the price of Bitcoin
support is very strong and Bitcoin has not fallen below the price of $40k until now. I agree with you, Bitcoin is very unlikely to repeat what
happened in 2018. So we can be optimistic that Bitcoin will return to the bullish trend in 2022. Although many people are disappointed Bitcoin
failed to reach the price of $100k in 2021, but it is quite possible that the target price of $100k can be achieved in 2022. So there is no need
to worry about Bitcoin's current performance, I believe Bitcoin can recover soon and the price goes up again. Indeed we have to be patient
waiting for the Bitcoin price to recover and rise to the price target we want. In fact, in my opinion, if we have extra money now, we can buy
more Bitcoin, because the price of Bitcoin under $50k is low compared to what Bitcoin will achieve in 2022.

Saved more money for my future, bought some NFT's, added some long term coins and bought some things that I needed and wanted.
These are just some of the things that I've done and all thanks not only to Bitcoin but to crypto in general. Without it, I can't do what I did this year.

I'm expecting 2 things about Bitcoin this upcoming 2022. It will either go to $100,000 for the first time and will stay sideways or it will go to the $30,000 price and will stay sideways as well.
What I haven't achieved using Bitcoin? Hmmmm maybe increasing my Bitcoin holdings to X amount. I think that I will achieve it and at the same time, will add more long term coins to hold for a long time.

May we be given long life and health.

My expectations for 2022 include Bitcoin finally reaching the $100,000 milestone. That is one expectation that wasn't met in 2021. So it will definitely happen in 2022. Another expectation is that there will be more and more institutional investors as well as countries that would be joining the Bitcoin community. That means there will be a much wider acceptance of Bitcoin next year.

In terms of accomplishment in 2021, I am already very proud of one thing and that is I continued to hodl.

I'm not really sure if we can still make $100k in 2022 though, it seems that the future seems bleak as this point as we might be entering a bear market for all we know. As someone said, the S2F model has been invalidated already as we are no more close to 6 digits at the end of the year.

Maybe in the next cycle, we might see the price hitting $100k or more, but not in 2022, at least this is my honest opinion after seeing what has happened in the last month. Anyhow, best of luck to everyone and yeah, long term goal is more important so keep on holding.

If I can remember it right, there will always be a negative sentiment when the market is down and a positive one when the market is up. The level of fear is at its highest when the market is at the bottom while the level of greed is at its highest when the market is at the top. But this is the way of the noob. The noob is fearful and is selling when the market is falling and he is in FOMO and buys when the market is rallying. The wise investor buys the fear.

Forget about S2F, it's just another way of making predictions. Bitcoin is unpredictable.

The year 2021 have been one of the most successful years for Bitcoin mainstream adoption and one of the most celebrated events of the year was the adoption as a legal tender by El Salvador, this has laid the foundation for a glorious 2022 because Bitcoin is going mainstream and its price is going to exceed $100,000 which will be a big reward for it holders. So in 2022 a lot of new openings and wider development.
Hopefully that's really going to be the case, I mean a lot of people have expected that bitcoin is going to go much hugher than it currently is when El Salvador finalizes the adoption of bitcoin in their country but the only thing that has happened that made things a bit better was that bitcoin seems to stay at a certain point.

I want bitcoin to be testing 6 digits in 2022. Even I am not holding big amount of bitcoins, I guess it would be too good to have bitcoin at bullish mode always and I guess that might be possible in coming years. Relatively stable is something that we have not achieved with bitcoin so far and my expectation is also about having less volatile bitcoin still ever-appreciating in value. I am sure we cannot eliminate the volatile nature from bitcoin in next 12 months of time still I wish if that happens then it would be too good to have more people to be using bitcoins.
