Just as easily as the coins rise, they can fall. It was only a few weeks ago that this last happened. Short term changes shouldn't be important, just the result over a few months.

It is obvious that you are new if you haven't seen anything like this before. It happens once in a while. People want to sell what they have earned right after reaching the ATH (all time high). More and more people are exchanging their altcoins to Bitcoin in order to sell it and probably to buy it a few days later when the price decreases. I wouldn't recommend you to sell it, you have to see it yourself how the market behaves in such situation. Nobody wants to be blamed for your loss.

This is just completely normal, correction is healthy for crypto currency especially with this crazy price leaps a correction is expected. Some whales in the crypto world made some sells of their digital currencies but dont be alarmed the price will recover after a few weeks. Just take advantage of the dip right now.

The altcoin were sillent when BTC went to 8.000 but when the pump and dump happened with Bitcoin Cash, Altcoin started to win some ground, which they are losing right now.

Most of the altcoins benefited from the rise of Bitcoin. BCH was trading at $300 per coin two weeks back, and now it is trading at $1,400 per coin. Litecoin has also increased from $50 to $80 during the same duration.

Every single coin is going down in the list. I have never seen like this where every single coins go down.  I have seen where most of them were down but at least 10 or 20 coins were up.
This is not the first time, it is normal correction after huge surge. I have seen blood bath like this before too, not once but many times.

Huge surge with several corrections in middle will make pump stables and help to build enough buy support to keep prices high. Corrections are necessary for healthy price growth.

This is just normal after Bitcoins price reached a new peak at shortest span of time. It is a domino effect which starts from bitcoin itself but there is no need to worry about it and most especially to panic. Instead, buy and accumulate the altcoins you prefer while they are at the lowest price so you won't have any regrets if they return to surge up again.

We've seen this so many times. Just two months back, Bitcoin fell from $4,500 per coin to $2,900 per coin after the news about the Chinese exchange ban came out. Actually, it is getting repetitive.

yes it did happen before. i think that you are new comer to cryptos as i am. but,  i have met this situation twice when all altcoins fall to the ground. its a good condition, therefore, to collect more coins in a lower price, unless, u have bought ones for a high price. there nothing weneed to but hodl til it recovers

I've seen this so many times  Grin take a look after few days or weeks then you'll be surprise with the next value of those coin. Bitcoin just fluctuates for me the is still high compare to its value in the previous month, it is really something we should not be worry about unless you does not plan to hold your coins for a long term and plan to sell them today, otherwise sit back and relax  Wink

You must be new to crypto  Grin corrections like this happen every time. At least about every 3-4 months. The overall market cap went from 200bln to 300+ bln so fast it was just a matter of time that big whales would take advantage of the situation by creating a panic sell among the new investors which don't know drops like these. Just hold your coins and in a week you will see new hights.

I agree with you, it is a natural thing. To me this is "Market price stabilization", no price will continue to rise, all definitely down. And someday it will surely rise drastically.

A few days ago, most of the coins near the top were all up. We’re seeing a selloff because people are locking in the gains they made in this massive increase in all those altcoins and bitcoin. It is just a temporary drop before they all buy back in. But I bet some of the newbies are going to get chased off by this drop.

My god, its a massive collapse!!!  Run for your lives!!!!

The price had fallen almost 20% at one point.

But really, this just puts the pricing back to 3 days ago.
Might still dip further, maybe even until after the weekend.  Great chance to buy in.

Welcome to bitcoin.

Yes, a “Great Time To Buy In” , if your exchange allows you to buy in, as a lot of the exchanges, have their clients LOCKED OUT, during times of large dips, either they can’t keep up with the volume of buys, or for other nefarious reasoning$.  (imo)

This is not surprising. Bitcoin always was and will be the flagship on the market of cryptocurrencies. Its price affects all other altcoins. They can compete among themselves, but the bitcoin they are always landmark. So I am sure that anyone of altcoins will attack bitcoin. If bitcoin dies no one will survive.

That happens many times before. They are so called this as a correction of price in crypto currency. When this things happen in crypto world it will be the best time for investors to buy again some coins and for sure price will increase again in the coming next few weeks.
