People who traded up until recent times have been outrageously spoilt by the volumes and price movements. That type of action can't last forever and it's amazing that it did last as long as it has. There will always be peaks and troughs.

Now is the time to take some long term positions by scooping up some coins that give you a bone. The action will be back some day. No one can say when of course.

We have to have along term view of trading strategy in other to come up with a very nice profit. Cryptocurrency trading has a pattern that the market has been following for quite some time now. Many people are abandon their trading strategy because it has not been working but many also are adopting new strategy in cryptocurrency trading. My current trading strategy is to buy coins that are less than a dollar and sell them in the next six months.

Cryptos are not tradable anymore... Not enough volume, bull vs bear....Bots....

What do you think about the recent crypto trend ? What are your strategies ?

For my part, except mining, cryptocurrencies trading is getting an hard hit.

I'm also suffering from trading bots and softwares because if you ask me, the market can't make this kind of transactions and trades if they're managed by humans beings. These should be all bots. Normal human traders can't make stupid trades like this. See, all of the prices are totally down!

I think the thread starting post is oversimplificated. Yes, there is lower volume than during the spring 2017. And yes, there are bulls and bears, and they were here even in the spring. We go through a certain period of market condition and you have to adapt. At the end of the day, it is always about fear and greed.

I stopped trading bitcoins few months ago, basically because there were lots of new alt coins and such, it became way too hard for me to follow everything so that i could get profit. But i am sure that cryptos are tradable.... There wouldn't be any traders left if it wouldn't be possible to earn from trading anymore.

Trading was indeed a lot more fun in Q2 and you really had to screw up to make the value of your portfolio decrease. It was a situation that couldn't last. I got back into the cryptomarket some time ago and things go a lot slower now; I'm mostly in alts currently and kinda 'stuck' as BTC has gained ground in the last few weeks while alts generally have lost a bit of value. I expect no succesfull trades this month for me personally, but that doens't bother me much tbh.

No doubt trading is a bit more risky and hard than other ways of earning but i don't agree with your statement that cryptos are not tradeable. Cryptocurrency are well tradable and huge profitable than others if you have patience. Nothing new in the trend these scenarios was also observed in the past, just go with BTC in current situations.

i don't know, i am still trading them and i see the volume is still high enough according to cryptocurrency trading standards. maybe it is not as high as a couple of months ago where all the altcoins were being pumped like crazy but it is still decent enough for trading.

besides with all these recent dumps there is bound to be a recovery pretty soon. some of the altcoins even had the recovery. you buy at the bottom and dump them after they recovered. not to mention all the margin trading that is possible to do when they are going down.

I think there are some opportunities in altcoin markets, the problem now is the huge number of altcoins and tokens, and this number is increasing Significantly with the new ICOs and airdrops that appear daily, thus new traders get confused where to put their money.
more coins more opportunity but hard to decide where you put your money to invest i must agree that altcoin yes lot opportunities there but all you gonna do is more research before grab some opportunity on it.

in that time eth, btc and alt coins price is very low. if i had chance then i would like to buy all coins. now i'm trying to buy eth coins but its price very high. present it's boom also high. if once i went back i would like to correct my mistakes and try to buy few all type of coins. but now i had no chance to buy because it's price more high. if i went back i had save more money and buying a lot of eth coins next bit coins finally alt coins.

ok let assume that we're back to december 2016,
after what will happen ? Bitcoin price is doubling  and other alts is pumping right ?
and now you're talking about it,which is completely nonsense and questionable.
what do you mean by this :
Quote
Cryptos are not tradable anymore
and this :
Quote
Not enough volume, bull vs bear....Bots....
do you even understand what are you talking about ?
if you said it's not tradeable, why would you said 'low volume' ? not tradeable mean is can not be buy or sell.
which mean there'll be no volume.

crypto trend ?
it's very obvious ,in the next few days we should see another run for Bitcoin.
and other alts will be underwater.
remember about another 'Bitcoin' will be created at 25 oct?
that is the reason this bull run

Can't see a pull back of all altcoins to december 2016. Examples: ETH was under 50$, Litcoin was at 4$, Doges where on 0.00017 $, BCN where on 0.00005 and so on. Hold them on longterm and you will see, that they will be still on uoturn.

not really. I think you are just caught up in the big bull pump market of this year which lasted a couple of months. it was a rare thing which rarely happens on that scale. in general altcoin market looks like this with everything getting dumped big time and the pumps are only a handful of different coins every day and the pumps are shorter than dumps.

it has always been like this. for now if you look around you can still find potential for profit among altcoins and every day a new coin is getting pumped. find those and make profit.

as for bitcoin, it is still the king and THE long term investment.

You are so right, the last month altcoins boom that happened was really, really awesome.

As you said, Bitcoin remain THE king Wink

Well I dont trade anymore, for me its a waste of time for
very little if any gain, granted I was only trading with about
$200 of altcoin/bitcoin but still I found it time consuming.

I wouldnt have thought it was getting a hard hit as there will
always be people who want to make profits and trading is
very alluring.

At the moment of today, yes it's almost a job. I remember the recent altcoins boom that happened a few months ago and it was a really, really good hype.

No risk no gain...But recently, from my point of view, most of the exchanges lost a lot of cryptos ''trafic'' like we used to knew it.

I don't agree with your statement that "cryptos are not tradable anymore! Because cryptos are very well tradable and a lot of people are earning a good amount of income every single day through crypto trading. I myself trade during the weekends and still earn a decent amount of profit. But yes, trading is time consuming and not for quick profit earners. It requires a lot of patience because tracking market is a very tedious job. But that rewards me suitably.

I mostly do arbitrage through bitcoin and ETH, mostly ETH because the transactions are quick and fits with my speed of decision making. Earlier I used to arbitrage using bitcoin but that requires a lot of idle money to keep in various exchanges. So I switched to ETH now and everything is going smoothly by God's grace.
