There are other ways to get dollars for Bitcoins.

Why all the fuss over one exchange to get your cash?

When you do business and need to cash out bitcoins regularly, it is very hard to do without a stable exchange. Especially, since some of us have life and prefer to not spend all the spare time resolving problems

If a registered member of this forum experiences a withdrawal delay from any exchange that cannot be reasonably justified, then such member has a right to state his version of the delay without being villified.   I have not read anything posted by Mt. Gox in response, so I reserve judgment on the question whether Mt. Gox is being "hacked" by an unnamed party again.  I have taken security precautions that I deem are appropriate in this case and I encourage others to carefully consider their use of an exchange as a cash and bitcoin wallet in the cloud.  I cannot recommend this usage beyond a very short term basis.

This bubbled up last month too, apparently some people have okay experiences but many do not.

I'm seeing an abnormally high number of MtGox "problem" threads. What the fuck is going on here? Is this bellyaching by a bunch of newbs (and God knows there are plenty of the retard-rickshaw eligible on this board). Or is there concrete evidence of MtGox malfeasance?

The last thing we need is to throw mud at the largest exchange so either we need some formal evidence or those threads should be locked (in my opinion).
