Not your keys, not your coins!
There were much better paying campaigns. Some offered 0.4 -0.5 BTC per month. Imagine earning 5000 dollars a month for posting on a forum!

But there's more! Years ago there were no such strict rules for posting in certain sections or x posts a week. You were often paid once a month and could post anywhere you wanted to.

Easy money if you were around in 2013 and 2014 and were able to hold it for a few years.

What intersts me is the anumber of scam businesses that were promoted this way.
Payments from campaigns should be converted to fiat when you consider them as income. Because people (participants) have their financial need to spend their payments. So in a nutshell, 0.4 - 0.5 BTC per month as payments years ago was not worth $4000 or $5000. Of course, I as well as you and maybe others will look at past campaigns' payment rates in BTC and wish if we were here in that period but it is life. Even with participants of those campaigns, they did not actually earn $4000 - $5000 per month. I meant the earning from campaigns should be put in right contexts of BTC price.

OP made a decent efforts to scrap all signature campaigns on the forum. I appreciated his time and efforts. If OP can move further and if he has time to do this in such dull time in the pandemic, would he mind including maximum of payments in BTC and in USDT over signature campaign history? I know this is a time-consuming work for OP.

Sheesh. I'd want a major payday to slog through that lot. That would take untold amounts of time.

Does the topic belongs to Beginners & Help? In my opinion, it belongs to the Meta board.

But because they're not arranged by year, then it's hard to see but if there's a price in there, that's a big clue. Imagine people earning 0.08 btc per week or 0.0012 per post! Those were the sweet days I never saw:(

They were the sweet days if you are talking about the bitcoin price and payment but the value was not worth much then. That 0.08 btc would be worth less than $100 which today's $0.015btc is higher. It is the same way people will look at today's payment in future and compare them and then think those people today earned much.

I recall some of the earliest ones were well over 1 BTC a month. My best effort was 0.18 a week for a while. Of course that was peanuts in 2015. The idea of getting $1800 a week for a bunch of dick jokes just goes to show the magic of Bitcoin.

Kudos to OP. I knew there were more than a few but didn't realise it was that sprawling.

I'd love to see somebody grab the spreadsheets for all that data and produce some insights, like the following;

1. Top 10 users by number of campaigns participated in
2. Most loyal signature wearer (user that stayed with one campaign the longest)
3. Most earned by a single member through signature campaigns for each user level
4. Highest paying campaign of all time
5. Campaign by most amount of money paid out (total)
6. Signature campaign managers by number of campaigns run

Five merits for anybody who produces two or more of these insights. PM me in case I don't see it myself.

Time keeps running. The lesson we can take is that time can change everything, trends change. Fortunately for those who are patient and joined the crypto world earlier, especially those who were in this forum from the beginning. There are regrets because I only knew this forum four years ago. But I'm still grateful because I can still get something very valuable from here.

Signatures with BTC rewards are the only legitimate and guaranteed present, especially those handled by trusted bounty managers. I am very happy to be a part of this campaign. For all friends, don't give up and let's do the best you can do here.

OP: Where is ChipMixer? I believe it's the highest paying campaign today, how could you forget it?

I really wish i could go back in time and know about bitcoin because if i know about bitcoin and bitcointalk forum in the year of 2013, i could be really rich today if i would hold it until now because the rewards is low that time, but today it is really big and enough to support our daily needs. But i am still thankful that i met bitcoin because i have been able to earn cryptocurrencies and support my necessities, even i don't earn big amounts of bitcoin.
Buy Bitcoin and keep holding then. Cheesy

Chances are that Bitcoin will still rise a ton more. Either you buy now and profit in the future (less than if you bought earlier, but still profit) or you don't and you come back 7 years later saying that you "should have bought in 2020 and you would be rich today". If you believe BTC can be used in a global scale, then it will grow. Just think about the number of people that use BTC or even know it compared to the world population.

what a work gathering all these signature campaigns man, look so cool to me.

It made me remember the campaigns that I joined when I was just a member, to full member up to senior back in 2015 to 2016, though I barely remember all of those but it's good seeing your past along with the improvement of the forum. And I know most of you guys know how huge our earnings on those campaign, those were the gold times that I am missing, we kinda lay low with the campaigns now especially with bounty.

And here I am, a member from 2013 that has probably only joined sig campaigns for a timeframe of max 10 months. Cheesy Guess there are some members out here currently owning over 10 BTC from these campaigns.

Quite interesting. It's the same lost opportunity as those who haven't held their accumulated BTC from Andresen's 5 BTC faucet. It's very interesting to see how this all progressed in 10 years. Ironically, I knew Bitcoin would become a thing back in 2013-2016 and yet I did not take the right steps to ensure my place in the game. Smiley

Interesting to see how this signature campaign evolves in the past years.

So this is how they do it in 2013 and continue to evolve until today. Salute to you digging up all and collecting all this mess! This could be a helpful list in the forum.  Smiley

Amazing, but you are correct! At first I thought it couldn't be true, but I've just checked the speadsheet! Speaking of Chipmixer, it seems that this is a company the OP missed, so I'll add the link here. All other companies I could remember because I took part in them are in that list. It's some impressive work by the op. Such a list is helpful to see how the payouts and requirements changed through time, but it's also a story of how various now highly trusted members were working on their reputation during their first signature campaigns.
I know a guy who basically earned his one Bitcoin through these early days sig campaigns and kept it since then.

It's actually interesting to see that the payments of some current campaigns are higher than campaigns from 2013. Of course no one is paying a quarter of Bitcoin per month, but by quickly looking at some threads I see there are early campaigns that were only paying 0.01 or 0.025 BTC per month or 2 weeks, which was just a few bucks at that moment. Nowadays good campaign pay a few dollars per single post. Maybe back in the day there wasn't many businesses around, or the demand for advertising wasn't high, but things really did change over the years.

Chipmixer is still paying more than that. Kinda crazy how they can afford that.

This is great, but I wish it was some expanded post that tells the history of signature campaigns, highlights some key events, analyzes them, etc. I think people would really appreciate it, most of us weren't around the times of early campaigns, so it would be very educating to learn about the early times.

Lots of high paying campaigns back then, maybe there are still members here you witnessed the evolution of signature campaign specially how the payment has evolved. All we can do now is wished that we are here early join those campaign, and hold on that btc and sell during its peaked 3 years ago. Signature campaigns are integral part of this community, without it, maybe this forum will not grow that fast. Good job collecting all these campaigns and I guess it will continue to grow as we move forward in the next 10 years.

Definitely nowadays signature campaigns are not as good as it was in the first. A lot of things change as the years passed by. Some signature campaigns are definitely stays, some are going better and some going down. I remembered wayback on the first time I come here in this site, signature camps are everywhere offers a good amount of earnings. But of course, most of the campaign does have maximum numbers of participants. Some good moderator of campaigns stays and some left. I want to go back to the first where Signature Campaigns are definitely good and best in earnings.

But one thing for sure that Signature campaigns does not change and that is scammers are all over and stays. Just like what others experience on the past where they were scammed by some signature campaigns and still experiencing the others today. Signature Campaigns nowadayas are very good and I think as the year passed by it continues to be good and improve.

Wow, what a list! Quite of a job has been done here.
Times have changed a lot since them and signature campaigns are much different now. They developed with time, become more sophisticated and high demanding, which is actually good. However, they were much higher paid before so you could earn really a nice amount of Bitcoin. They are also part of good tradition so I hope the trend will continue and I'm always happy to participate.
