Hey everybody,

I've just found an old wallet with thousands of dogecoins inside.

Since I'm a newbie, I would have some advices about exchange with others Altcoin. I was  thinking about exchanging my XDG for ETH. Is it worth? I should keep my Doge or exchange with other coins?

Thanks for help
That feeling when you find money lying around Grin, I don't know if you should still keep the dogecoin, there's dogecoin still has a room to grow in terms of price? Cuz judging by the amount of coins in circulation, I'm not so sure the price will grow that big even in the near future, doge is just a meme coin for Elon Musk now, anyway changing your dogecoin to eth isn't bad idea at all, cuz Ethereum still has alot of room to grow in terms of price, but I would have preferred bitcoin.

It seems like DOGE is not reacting to Elon musks tweets now. Actually, there are millions of coins in the market better than DOGE. It's better to move to another coin. Cant give financial advice. But I personally recommend BNB, One harmony, Cosmetic Atom are the best projects to keep in touch with. Again this is not financial advice.

BNB, ETH, BTC doing good. I think BNB is perfect for invest now. It’s fully my opinion.

Everyone started to use BSC. Demand for BNB still increasing for it. I also invested a small amount in BNB.

But, You have to understand market first before investing in any coins otherwise you can face high loss.

Do your due diligent before making a decision,  personally I would have suggest btc, this is where the money is going lately, the attention is on btc, institutional investors are very much interested in joining the btc train, and there is the $100k plus btc prediction and from the look of things btc is not shying away from that prediction, however, the choice is yours but make it wisely, and don't keep your dogecoin for a better price in future.

You will get many advice on which coin to invest but you need to look at the market and then come to a conclusion before investing. You need to understand that the price of ETH rallied from $50 an year ago to around $2000 and you will understand the risk if you are investing right, the price might rally in either direction. It is better to find a small valuation top coin that has the potential rather than investing in coins that has rallied considerably in the past few months.

Since you accidentelly found an old wallet, I would suggest to keep dogecoin.
I guess it felt good to find out that you have some spare bucks. So act like you havent found that wallet. Maybe when next time you remember about this wallets, its value would be even more.

Do your research, while choosing, wouldn't say that have many favs. Would outline SOVI finance, taking the block chain strategy game as the carrier, the innovative IP+NFT asset + liquidity mining optimization platform. You can play three roles in SOVI.finance: bankers, conquerors, and leaders. Bankers participate in mobile mining to build the economic base of SOVI, conquerors form their own troops to conquer the battlefield, leaders develop base technology to lead their alliance to prosperity, each role has its own way to earn SOVI. SOVI opens the world entrance to block chain with strategic games, reshapes ""Dego 2.0"" version through GameFi, strives to create innovative IP+NFT assets, selects high-quality liquidity mining projects, and brings users a more relaxed and richer asset interaction experience. Through the unique chief recommendation mechanism to improve mobile mining incentives, in the SOVI battlefield to form their own NFT army and other players to compete

It's better if you can exchange your doge with top 100 CMC. As far as i know if the future of dogecoin is not so good as the speculator said. Eth is a better choice to be used as long term hold rather than doge coin. I think that doge coin is totally over valued and it has unlimited supply. Doge is getting pumped now due to the elon musk's tweet but we don't know whether this pump can sustain more than 1 quarter.
More supply goes to the market means dump.

If you exchange it for Eth coin then it is not wrong in my opinion, because Eth is one altcoin that has potential, and you can exchange your Doge coins for Btc or any other altcoins you think are good for the future.

Thanks all for the precious advices.

I already have a wallet with BTC so I would like to evaluate some other coins in order to diversify the investment.
By the way I was more interested in understanding whether to keep the Doge or not and the common feeling is to exchange it so I will inquire about the ones you have proposed and I will choose the most stable. Thanks!!

If I were you, I'd sell most of my Dogecoin since that coin is all about hype anyway. People have been pumping Dogecoin none stop lately so there might be a negative effect on that (remember wallstreetbets? remember Elon Musk?). Go for Bitcoin if you aren't sure. Eth is also a good investment but the fees are a turn off so it's going to have a hard time getting new players.

It's worth consider ethereum has a better fundamental compared with the dogecoin. You must also see that elon has been confirming if he was not investing in doge but he takes it as a joke coin.
That's why he was making a lot of troll on his twitter account.
I think that you may consider another choice  just like BNB, polkadot, ADA and many more consider these coins have better fundamental than doge.

If you can hold ETH for long time then you can convert doge into eth. I am saying this because eth is near all time high and it can have a little dump from here as the whole market is overbought. You can also thinking of buying TRX as this coin is at the support and may pump in the near future.

If you're wondering and can't decide exactly what to invest in at the moment, you can turn your Dodgecoin into one of the "safe" coins like Tether, because I think the price of Dodgecoin will continue to fall. Once you decide what to do with the money, you can turn the Tethers into something else.

Invest in something you really believe has a potential in the future. I'd go for privacy coins, since surveillance and control are on an All-Time High everywhere in the world. Regarding Doge, I would personally not keep it. Its price growth is not sustainable since it was just a celebrity pumping it basically.

I will exchange it for other coin as i don't believe in the long term potential of doge. ETH is a good choice but don't expect it to multiply like other low marketcap coin, maybe expect it to grow 20-30% more is reasonable in this bullrun. You can also look at other coin in the top 100 coinmarketcap like bnb, polkadot, ada (especially the last two as it seems like it's their turn right now to move).

It's pretty hard to tell if Doge will still grow higher or not but there are other altcoins that I'm pretty sure will grow better as fast as the bitcoin bullrun is still up and running, altcoins like avalanche, polkadot, chainlink, BNB, Neo haven't get done yet, I believe they are just getting started

I would say the following:

BTC
BNB
ADA

That's the first 3 that I would do if ever I see some Doge in my old wallet.

ETH though is still good if you wanted to exchange it, since it's a prime mover as well in the altcoin market. But those 3 looks solid to me, but that's just opinion though.

If you aren't satisfied with your ROI don't bother swapping your doge coin for another coins, the more bitcoin remains bullish the more altcoins will keep growing so there is probability that you will still make more from your doge coin bag
