I really like being a bounty hunter, even though sometimes I help to promote projects that in the end don't pay off to me. but I kept on going on and on to keep up with projects that would eventually bring me income.
this is a bit of my experience as a bounty hunter.
I also want to know the experience you have...Thank yOU Guys

There is no of fence if you want to be a Bounty hunter, but it cannot be full time and you cannot base your day to day transactional charges on Bounty hunting because projects can be unreliable

How can one project scam hunters two times? Either bounty hunters gets a rewards or gets nothing.
Or they scammed hunters with distribution, and then like “hey hunters, want to promote us one more time and maybe this time will will distribute rewards?” ?

I have also experienced a situation where the project team scam bounty hunter twice when I still work as bounty hunter but it literally gives me the knowledge/hints of knowing the perfect bounty to work for in other not to waste my time on lying project team.

1) The number one thing you first need to look at before joining a bounty is the total allocated token in USD if it worth the time.
2) How the bounty manager's previous bounties end well and the manager's reputation.
3) Do some background check about the project team and the project.

There is nothing to be happy about being a bounty hunter when you get cheated 9 out if 10 times with your hard work. If you want to continue as bounty hunter then make yourself better with analyzing so you can avoid more scam and useless projects than before and don't forget time is most valuable thing than anything.

It's hard to find a project that will perform well in the market or get funded, even good projects are having a hard time to get funded or perform well in the market, take a look at Youcash, the project looks good but it failed to live up to expectation, we'll have to wait several months before we can see it perform better in the market, that is if they follow their roadmap and updater their platform.

For now yeah its really hard to find a good project to join since most of them always turn to be scam. But you need to continue your effort finding good project if you want to get decent rewards it's normal thing that you can join in not so good project with low payment but it doesn't mean that you will alsway find a shit project. You will also find good project by continuing your job . It's about luck if you found a project that will rewards you godd amount then it's good to you if not it's still ok since you are only using your effort to promote it not your own money.

Way back 2017-2018 I made some good fortune with bounties.
$1000-2000 for the first project I joined in and then almost $20k for the last one.
I got lucky when the coin hit the exchange. It was selling in a good price and I never intended to keep it so I sold half of it while the remaining will be left to wait for the price to take its peak.
Since bounties and ICO were just started those time which makes it profitable, I remember being able to earn alot too from social media campaign as well in signature. Only few participants that time but the reward budget by the project is quite a big percentage. Unfortunately I did not sell most of my altcoins that time only spend it when I needed money and now those altcoins didn't have any value now so I tend to be more focus whenever I do trading after the 2017 pump.

Do you know what kill bounty hunters sometimes? There expectations are very vert much sometimes that's why it's always disappointing at the end and too much expectations brings disappointment sometimes.
Ones a project create a thread on bounty board, the next thing I try to do is to do my own reserch before I proceed 2ith any promotion. I have also made up my mind not to participate any project that's coordinated by newbie except for copper members. High rank members never disappoint most of the time

Those in that section should always be those who can bear the burden of working for a particular project without getting paid. And for your information almost everyone was once a hunter and this issue you have raised were those same issues that made some exited the bounty hunting sections, i quit the bounty for one particular project i was fortunate to promote and the project scale through got even listed on Binance exchange without the team paid the hunters. Most projects owners do intentionally did this type to hunters around this space.

Of course everyone has good and bad experiences as a bounty hunter. My experience in 2017 was getting a pretty big reward on the Goal Bonanza bounty, and a bad experience I should have gotten a pretty big reward on the Idol and Surety bounties, but once entered the market, the prices of the two tokens were far from what was expected. Another bad experience, of course, is that there are many unpaid bounties, so many bounties that are scam and do not pay as promised. But I take the positives, if it is sustenance, it will definitely not go anywhere.

The best bounty campaign for me is the one I'm wearing now, I'm getting weekly earnings and it's Bitcoin which I can trade right away when I received my payout, I was burned on doing bounty on these new coins, since I joined this campaign I never looked back again, I don't want to have wasted time.

I love participating in bounty campaigns. I'm not doing this just to earn money. It is a very useful job for me because I spend productive time and share about cryptocurrencies. I will continue this  Cheesy

This is commonplace and felt by all bounty hunters. In fact, our quality and quantity guarantees that the campaign manager provides the mandate appropriately and is not in vain. If a campaign is not as expected, it is an anticipation for us in the future so that we can always filter what we think is right and will also be very useful.

I do not have an enough experience to say lots of thing. But in my 3-4 months being a bounty hunter i want to share my earning with you guys. When i start my bounty journey in 3 months ago i started with a project which was pay in usdt. I joined their campaign lots of people says that the project is scam. Because the admin of this peoject was an admin of previous scam project. But i follow a youtube channel and he told me to complete task. The task was for 1 week i had less follower on twitter then i joined the campaign after end of the campaign. Then after 1 months i recieved almost $43 usdt. And i feel soo happy my journey was too good. I feel yes it has future because my start was good. After that i am Working regularly and i am trying to focus on article writting and social task i can cover more earning because i write article. I have less follower on my social media that is why i got less earning on twitter task. That is why i am working on increasing social followers. At the end of the word i want to say in crypto you will face lots of scam but don't lose hope just working you will get your prize.

Just like you, I also often join campaigns that end up not paying or end up in scams but that doesn't make me sad because to be honest, bounties are just extra work for me to fill the time when I'm relaxing.

I also had the experience of joining a project campaign to promote it, but after the bounty was over and within a while they disappeared without telling everyone, from there I started to be careful in looking for projects to join the project in the campaign.
That means if the project is only wanna getting the free promotion. I have been seeing a bunch of the scam project like that. Some scam projects were even changing their contract to the new address to make the tokens that distributed to the hunters became useless but their tokens were dead too.
I guess there are so many hunters have experienced this and almost all of the hunters ever promoted the scam projects. I have wasted a few months to promote the scam one called kittiefight.
It's a difficult time for us when the project became another scam.

I am also an experienced bounty hunter but I left joining bounties from the last month of 2019 but again I started to participate in bounties from Nov 2020. I left participating in bounties because most of the bounties in 2019 turned scam or did not pay So I lost faith but when I saw the market is improving month by month I started again as a hunter and now I am receiving again bounty rewards as well.

What is the point of receiving bounty rewards when 99% of all the tokens you receive are useless? I participated on quite a lot of bounties in the past but only 1 bounty got listed to a major exchange. All the rest of the tokens I have can't really be traded and just sit there in my MetaMask wallet.
There can be some good bounties that pay out in ETH or that directly pay to your in game wallet (like the Betfury bounty) but that is a minority.

Once I joined a bounty campaign my mindset is set at 50/50 I either get paid or it turn scam, although I might have done a thorough research before joining it however I discovered that despite all the media hype, ICO ratings, developers of the project and reputation of the bounty manager managing it, all these might not guarantee a payment, I once had a bitter experience on such bounty campaign which lasted for 3 months and the end everybody involved in the project never show up again.

Everyone who participates in bounty companies is faced with this completely, because most bounty companies are scams, and therefore this happens, but after all, from the very beginning it is very difficult to distinguish a good bounty from a scam bounty, because scam projects know how to present their projects like a top projects.
