i have experience in cloud mining service in the past year, m:(ost of them are not in good experience
I bought number of GHS on c-cex and figure out this service won't give me profit, so I trade those GHS and leave that cloud mining.

After that, i find out PBmining give me good rate of GHS and decide to buy some GHS.
I learn about how PBmining works and find out this service is most likely a Ponzi scheme, not real cloud mining. So i decide to sell my account to someone in this forum and leaving cloud mining world.
Now we can see PBmining is scam and i'm happy with my decision Smiley

i think you are very lucky bro you can sell you account in PBmining before this site scam that mean you still get you money back
because lot of people lost they money when PBmining scam and nobody can ROI from this site...you made right decision

indeed he was very lucky but what if the buyer asks for his money back because he losses not benefited but pbmining already scam hmm? Cheesy

My experience is that cloud mining is a waste of time and money, you won't get any profit from mining anymore in any way

i kind of agree, at this point investing in a ponzi and in cloud isn't much different, to much risk involved, and not because there aren't legit ponzi, but because mining is unsustainable for a casual guy that want to approach it, you need to invest a tons for earning a little profit, investing few cents will not do it

That's strange, I make quite a lot of profits fro hashnest.  Some people say their returns are low, but for me I am very happy with their service.  It is a reasonable amount of risk for a really good return.  The big risk now is if the new generation of mining equipment comes out and significantly increases difficulty.  But even then it will take a while to set all this stuff up.  It has to be bought, shipped and installed, so I should have plenty of time to decide if I want to keep my s5 hash or not.

However if you don't feel comfortable putting your money there then don't!  Good for you sticking to your convictions.  You never know, you might be the one laughing all the way to the bank in a few months while I cry over my lost coins.

just thinking before buying fake ghs contracts would simply be enough. never invest when they promise great returns. just avoid them.
It's hard to differentiate between real contracts and fake ones. Some does really have real mining hardware but they can still run away with it. It isn't enough to base the legitimacy based on proofs.

A bit thing is who they are affiliated with. For example hashnest = Bitmain.  That is very much legit.

These ponzi one's are very about bragging about amazing ROI and not the machines that are the backbones.     Just stick with well known ones with good affiliations.

Cloudmining companies are either a ponzi scheme or are never going to ROI. Even though some of the companies may appear to be trusted, they still hold on to your money and can run at anytime. Just like what ANTminer did.

Wait, do you mean Bitmain's cloud mining service or a different one.  I never heard of Bitmain ripping of anyone, so please explain if you can.  Thanks!
Sorry, I meant ASICMiner. I kept on confusing AM with antminer. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/chinese-mining-mogul-friedcat-has-stolen-more-than-a-million-in-am-hash-scam-974058

That would make a big difference.  ASICMiner is a sad story at this point.

But Bitmain is very much a great cloud platform through hashnest.

I got in early with PBMining, but never quite broke even. I did come closed than most however, because I got in early. I was one of the lucky ones. People told me that it was a ponzi, but I wouldn't listen. I argued and argued. Got mad at people for calling it a ponzi, but guess what. I was wrong. Where is PBMining now?

Be very careful with cloud mining. There may be some honest ones out there ( I haven't found them though ), but most of them are nothing more than Ponzi schemes and are waiting to take your money while leaving you holding the bag.

What about hashnest?  They seem legit to me.

I don't know about hashnest. I'm sure that there has to be a legitimate cloudmining company out there somewhere. Maybe they're the one. I do know that all the ones that I have experience aren't.

Hashnest is legit.  One of the few I trust personally.  Part of the Bitmain family.

It's over here: https://www.hashnest.com/
whether until now hashnet still legit? whether this mining cloud do not use the system ponzi?
I want to try if it was really nice  Smiley

thye are legit along with bit-x, they are the only two legit at the moment, but maybe there some small other that are paying as well
ahh for bit-x seemed I believe they are legit, because they have a nice community here

There are a few things you can ask to sort out most ponzi from real cloud mining.  Sadly there is a lot of ponzi stuff out there.

First this sounds stupid but it is very true, does the return sound to good to be true?  In this I consider ones that throw free hash at people, brag about to good to be true ROI, etc.   A lot can be stopped here with this.

Second ask what is powering their cloud?   A lot of the ponzi sites simply do not have the equipment.   They can easily simulate it showing hash that just is not there.  If they are legit they are happy to at least tell what kind of machines are powering it.

We offer much more than regular cloud mining contracts. Please visit: https://cloudthink.io/invest/

you still don't have ANN thread, even your "CEO" promised to create one...right?

A topic will be opened where you can discuss about general information about CloudThink.IO and the recent public parent company, Cloud Think Mining Ltd.

...and there is accusations running vs your "company" right?

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/cloudthinkio-removed-management-pictures-after-being-caught-with-stealing-1074272

My experience was when play cloud mining quite profitable, I used to play on cex.io, pbmining and eobot. My most favorite cex.io.
but for now it's better you forget to play cloud mining because you will never profit.
