What backs Abstract Coin?

Funny you should ask. Currently, it's back by wooly mammoth blood: http://www.foxnews.com/science/2013/05/29/wooly-mammoth-blood-recovered-from-frozen-carcass-russian-scientists-say/

This is just brilliant! I love this 'manual version of cryptocoins'. Can I have some? Cheesy

Currently, the AC facet is locked down till an issue is resolved.

Here's what I have so far.

Adam is required to give away the entire 1AC at no larger than 0.01AC at a time. After he does so, if he wants any AC in his personal ACwallet, he must buy them.

I propose that all those who've received AC must also give away 90% of them to at least 9 different entities prior to being able to exchange their remaining 10% for goods or services regardless of what form of currency is recognized during the exchange process.

Once Adam has given away the entire 1AC, then the buyback process commences, either by him or some other(s), thus the starting to set its value.

Scandal!
Abstract Coin's protocol has been compromised by user  "nimda"
he pushed a transaction sending me half the coins i sent him, back to me
then later he edited his post and is now claiming to have only sent 0.01AC back to me

can Abstract Coin overcome this exploit?

who knows!

I hope to dear Jehovah that the media doesn't pick up on this. We don't need this type of publicity at this early stage of development.

Please get it rectified prior to the first trade show/expo. Did I mention Dank & The not Ready for Prime Time Players is performing?

This Abstract Coin has me all fucked up. I can't remember which ideas I've posted were meant as serious or sarcastic.

I love this coin!

Seriously, I'm serious about this coin, with my sarcastic comments tossed in for humor effect. Thanks to the nature of this endeavor, we all get to decide, individually, which is which.

I further propose that no actual online exchange is created to set the value of Abstract Coin. But, once a year, an outdoor trade show with vendors only accepting AC is organized to dictate the following years exchange rate. The vendors charge the previous year's exchange rate, profiting at the end of the show when the new rate is announced.

A matrix will need to be devised as to how such can be accomplished fairly and honestly, but it will be all done in the open for all in attendance to see.

|AC8DG84KD| (0.888AC)AdamStgBit(0.788AC) -> nimda
I'll send 0.05 back to you
|738551740| (0.1AC)nimda(0.05AC) -> AdamStgBit
...
Hey, FRAUD!!
You edited my quote!

I only send 0.01 back to you Angry

you edited your post

oh oh its about to fall apart

ahhh sell everything!!!
Here's a guy trying to cheat me out of half of the AC's I own, and he claims that I edited my post!

For reference:
here 0.1AC to play with.

|738551740| (0.1AC)nimda(0.09AC) -> AdamStgBit

Shouldn't this be in the scam section?

EDIT: Upon reading it further, Adam didn't really give you anything. Only something to play with. Now that you're done playing with it, he has it back. He even went outta his way and gave you 0.01AC.

Seriously, I don't think you have a case. But let's see what the lawyers have to say after you open up such a thread.

Umm... I hate to be a picky little anal hair-splitting bitch, but shouldn't this thread be listed under alternate cryptocurrencies?

Coming Soon!

A representative of Abstract Coin has just closed a deal to get the first ever restaurant to accept AC. Apologies for not disclosing which restaurant, but here's proof that the meeting did take place. As you can see, the proprietors seem keenly interested.
