I could not mention any effect yet, because the current price increase has nothing to do with the LIBRA coin announcement. As soon as they begin to implement their solutions, there would be some changes but not now.

I'm wondering why facebook developer chose to create a stablecoin? If that is the case, what commodity will be used to back facebook stablecoin? These are just some questions lkngering in my mind as of now especially where stablecoins are in hype. Can't wait to see the whitepaper.

This is exciting news and if Facebook can sort out all of the regulatory side of it effectively then it should be able to achieve a decent rate of adoption with its massive user base and this will be beneficial for the entire cryptocurrency industry especially the assets endorsed by major brands

It obvious that we are moving towards an ear where everything is digital, and whether facebook is doing this and creating their own currency for the profit or just to try something new, it will be a deciding factor and its success or failure will shape the future of cryptocurrency overall and whether other will start adopting it or not, but i think that because of how facebook is well established and have so many users across all its platforms it might be the push that crypto has long awaited for. white paper for the token would be published on June 18.

One of the requirements to mass adoption is the stability of the coin's value, meaning volatility is one thing that hinders it. With as facebook says, "stablecoin", something has to be done to make it stable. Let's wait and see what are their plans.
Lets see on what it do really looks like we should say.This would be an another centralized coin with having a stable coin value.If its tied up with other crypto then it has to be on stable coins I presume yet volatility would be inevitable if its traded on high
volume pairs.

This is a plus as far as cryptocurrency is concerned. I see it as something that may trigger the next bullrun in crypto market. The Facebook will surely bring a lot of investors into crypto.

This is obviously a great news for the cryptocurrency world at large. The coin will bring about massive adoption to crypto and a lot of people will want to trust the coin because its from the social media giant.
If allowed by the local jurisdiction and if regulated or adopted by the countries where crypto is still banned, Facebook might be the mainstream for the transaction of money from one part of the world to another because of the huge usage and user base of the company. Yes we can say Mass adoption if it's acquisitions is made available on Facebook platform not only on exchange. This is something beyond my expectation! Facebook coin means a huge mass adoption for the crypto market. Millions of people using facebook social platform and it is the largest social network! I think it would definetly help the adaption, as user of Facebook might learn to use this Stablecoin.
