Facebook canceled some of the bans and they did not completely cancel the advertising restrictions on cryptocurrency and ICO!
Fecebook reviews advertisements for cryptocurrencies, and advertisements with scams are still banned. This is a responsible performance for users!

I think this is a good news that Facebook has lifted it's ban against cryptocurrency ads. However, ads about ICOs and MLM related cryptos are still banned. But I think this is a good start. What do you think about this? Will this affect the price of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general? Is this a preview of an upcoming bullrun?

Banning of facebook to cryptocurrencies were already at the news few months back, these had caused more people  to worry but i still see that it is being advertise in facebook i was just being complacent that they can't turn back off with cryptocurrency ads,but rather accept the new trends to be adopted using social media.

Yes this is good news, but this is old news. and I also know this news has often been written in this forum. but it does not matter, I think the lifting of Cryptocurrency Ads ban on Facebook will have a very positive impact on the development of Cryptocurrency, where we know Facebook is a big social media and of course this will affect the people in it. the more people who know Cryptocurrency, of course the greater the chance Cryptocurrency to be able to grow more rapidly again.

WPP ENERGY - BACKED ASSET GREEN ENERGY TOKEN
This was gonna happen sooner or later. Facebook wants to protect people from investing in scams and ponzi schemes. ICO's currently are the most risky investment as many of the tokens are either launched at less prices than they were during initial coin offerings or are scams. whereas investing in crypto currencies is choice of people and their advertisements doesn't affect or promote risky or scam investments.

Hey really i dont know about this. Is this true? If its true that is really great to hear this. Also this will really improve bitcoin positivity and bitcoin price too. I hope hereafter everything will be good.
It's all about advertising, for sure crypto believers will enjoy this news after the reversal they can now begin to share again those supported cryptos that they've got, the only matters here maybe it's much better to add some limitations to prevent possible scams to circulate more iside this social media
venue, restrictions will help people/investors to decide first before engaging to any project that will end their investment being loss.

Not a big fan of Zucker here.... So I don't really care whether he allows crypto ads or not. That said, I have a feeling that his hostility towards crypto might be having something to do with his rivalry with the Winklevii.

s there’s clearly too much ad revenue potential to ignore, Facebook announced it’s reversing its cryptocurrency ad ban effective immediately. The decision comes with a few caveats, however. The company says it will allow ads and related content from pre-approved advisers,” but will still not allow ads promoting binary options and initial coin offerings. Facebook had first enacted the ban in January, saying at the time that too many companies in this space were “not currently operating in good faith. While it admitted that banning all crypto advertising was a broad change, the company said that its new policy would “improve the integrity and security of our ads, and to make it harder for scammers to profit from a presence on Facebook.

This is good news since Facebook is still the major social media being used. This will greatly help Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency be known to many people.

This should help with the popularity of cryptocurrencies in general as more people would have he chance to see it. Facebook and other social medias are so effective in gathering attention that even the news of the ban getting lifted would pique a person's interest.

Its old news of Facebook that they are banning cryptocurrency ads but i can see still ads are appearing. i don't think bitcoin still banned ads.
he talks about the opposite, facebook has allowed ads about crypto. I think the price will not move too big considering it's only the permissions on facebook ads that I think facebook has been abandoned by some of its users, especially after the privacy case of customers who leaked some time ago.

i think it will give an effect to the price and run of bitcoin, because facebook is very wide that even child can access it. its a kind of endorsing bitcoin, maybe not full but its a good start and a good partner on terms of business. if this both facebook and bitcoin group will   be a partner in long time,  it can make a big impact to the governments and the whole world.

May be Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has seen the big potential of bitcoin and cryptocurrency and they are now planning to launch there on ICO.

I am in favour of blocking out any spammers in any field. Google and Facebook need to create a filter against such people. To ban the whole cryptocurrency ads was unfair to start with. I hope that such decisions are not repeated in the future. Why do you think they banned them?
I think the Facebook is just protecting their users on those fake projects that flooding in the Facebook ads. Although it's the responsibility of the users if they will invest on those ico as it's too risk to invest without doing a research.
