This is really a great news for the whole industry. Just after the banning of crypto in Facebook, its price fall down rapidly. I hope that the industry will grow more and more with a great value through the promotion of crypto.

A few days ago I read the news that Facebook has removed the ban Cryptocurrency ads, Really it? Do you know ?

If that's true, it will definitely make cryptocurrency grow more Smiley
Until now, is there any impact on Bitcoin?
This will add no significant value/benefits to Crypto market, it will give scam ICO project the rooms to scam more ignorant investors
But still there are more wise investor and I think it will attract attention to people and it will also move bitcoin value to its current price so giving back the ads on facebook is still the great way to advertise since there are alot of people who will see a new project and being updated on what crypto can they invest.

I think the effect, although the effect is not great on the value of the current bitcoin. facebook is a social media that has very many users in this world. the role of facebook to spread the latest cryptocurrency news is very important. so very unfortunate if there is a ban related to information or advertising crypto.

I think this is useful and will benefit cryptocurrencies in general. I also think it's a step in the right direction in bringing crypto to the attention of the masses, as well as helping to educate people about the difference between crypto and ICOs

I am convinced that by lifting the ban crypto will be prepared by anticipating every fraud that ensues then fraud is inevitable as it is rampant everywhere but at least to minimize any cheating, it will be better yet but increase the confidence of every smart person , the spread of cryptocurrency can not be avoided anymore then they will follow the current that has been made at this time, very useful for future cryptocurrency not only for Bitcoin but all who want to compete.

Once a man, twice a child!
I didnt see any crypto ads in facebook even before the ban+dont expect that people will enter the crypto world
From facbook because people are not in facebook for usful reasons
Really? You didn't see any crypto adverts on Facebook pre-ban? Dude I hope you arent from outer space

Is this true there was no major news report about this can you back this up with a link, this is interesting I'm sure this will benefit bitcoins in the long term. People had left as social media boycotted it, and they were scared and this will indeed boost customer confidence in them. This kind of news normally always make more impact in the long run.
The news is true but the ban on ICOs still remains unrevoked.

As for the impact, Mark Zuckerberg and his Facebook crew will feel it first in company Revenue surge than the general crypto market will. It's about the Benjamins. The drastic drop in revenue made Facebook take a detour.

It's probably gonna do more for up-and-coming projects that are looking to spread the initial word out. Bitcoin won't be affected that much, until some actual infrastructure related projects (Bitcoin marketplaces, ATM's etc) start advertising. That being said, we could see increased Bitcoin liquidity from an influx of nocoiners seeing those new BTC ads.

they only allow crypto ads. But ICOs are still disallowed.

I think it's fine. There's so many ICO scams that it's reasonable to be afraid to promote them. I'm not against them and think people should be allowed to promote what they want but if half of the projects become scams somebody should do something to at least warn people. This ban got a lot of media coverage and worked as a warning.

Facebook may have realized the importance of encrypting the world. I think Facebook's attitude towards bitcoin can better expand the influence of the encrypted community.

You are absolutely correct on this. As ICOs and new projects get awareness via Facebook, it will indirectly give confidence to Bitcoin and Ethereum as most of these new projects use Bitcoin and Ethereum to initiate payments.

The first impact its going to have is on altcoin and ICO markets as most of the ads are ran by these projects while no one runs ads promoting Bitcoin. But it is going to indirectly help bitcoin too as for making a entry into the crypto market you have to first buy Bitcoin and thus it will indirectly increase its prices and demand.

Ads will be monitored and perhaps may be reviewed by the Facebook team, that the common move to make, perhaps ads will under go checking before placing it to ads section, it is a good thing to have it back in Bitcoin.

Flying Hellfish is a Commie
Impact is going to be minimally, this ban was put in place in an attempt to curb the amount of crypto scams the facebook community was being placed in due to the people that were abusing the gain in value of crypto to trick people into buying into their random crypto related services. It was a good thing that crypto ads were banned, I do hope that they curb the scams and make sure people are ONLY getting real and legitimate services.

This is true, most of the ads aren't for bitocin. They're for ICO projects and for altcoins, so maybe they'll go through a stage where they get some more users.

But then again, only time will tell.

It is not a news about facebook with cryptocurrencies as in their first announcement in last January, it was clear that they will revisit the new policy. Here an extract from the official announcement:
Quote
this policy is intentionally broad while we work to better detect deceptive and misleading advertising practices... We will revisit this policy and how we enforce it as our signals improve.
The new announcement highlights that this is not an overturn but a revision of Facebook’s cryptocurrency policy, rather than a removal of the policy altogether, so advertising for binary options and ICO are still banned. And this why we don't expect to see no impacts on prices or the movement of the market in general.
