That Shelby character must have a lot of time in his hands, writing all those long well-thought out conspiracy theories.

OK, if believing that you are unique, and special makes you feel better.

He's like a flat-earther of the Bitcoin community.

You got that logic transposed. Remember those who thought the earth was round were considered heretics by the vast majority of their era.

You’re the flat-earther. I can think outside the peer pressure box and propose a theory about the earth being round, which is heretical inside your mainstream world.

But thanks for making my point for me.

I believe in reality, and that any effort by miners to steal Segwit outputs will be invalid, and then cause a hard fork, then leaving your "Real Bitcoin" chain with very little value to the community. While you believe it will be the end of Bitcoin, the end of Segwit, and that you win.

Who's the flat-earther?

An obvious counterpoint would be that "the community" is irrelevant, economically. Mircea Popescu alone probably has more BTC than the 10,000+ people who ran full nodes, signalling for the UASF segwit fork.

That raises an obvious question: Will "The Real Bitcoin" be more valuable to the big players?

That's my point. Would the big players want to play among themselves, without the "irrelevant community" to empower them, or would it be more productive for them, the community, everyone to be good actors?

I believe if they start stealing Segwit outputs, then they would fork, and split to another worthless "Bitcoin X" chain that no one would care about.

Whales are not economically relevant on a network nobody uses.

What exactly is the basis for "The Real Bitcoin's" value in this dynamic? What you're suggesting goes in the face of Metcalfe's Law. With a network so tiny, there isn't even a logical economic basis for any whales to support the miner's fork. Only obscure crazies like Mircea Popescu would for political/philosophical reasons. The vast majority of whales would rationally protect their wealth rather than pursue an obscure fork where miners steal everyone's BTC.

You seem to think some small minority of whales and the forking miners are enough to create a network worthy of any value. It's much more likely it'll look like Bitcoin Cash (or actually probably one of the more obscure shitcoin airdrops like Bitcoin God). The market can sniff out a few big players trying to corner the market. Nobody will fork their client except those colluding in the attack, nobody will use the network, there will be zero demand for the mining rewards on this chain. Just like Bitmain with Bitcoin Cash it'll be a spectacular failure. They can throw some hash rate and fake transactions on the network but the market will see right through it. When there's no demand for the miner rewards but there's still loads of airdropped coins to dump, what do really expect to happen?

Who would ever buy into and prop this market up except those who are attacking Bitcoin (the 0.5.3 miners), who are already expending hash power on likely worthless mining rewards? The market isn't this dumb, and if you think Bitcoin miners are this short-sighted and dumb to even attempt this, good luck to you. This is much, much more obscure shitcoin fork than Bitcoin Cash and yet "this time it's going to be different." When will people ever learn to stop fighting the market? You people amaze me.

You want to hedge for the least likely scenario possible? Keep your coins in legacy addresses. But actually buying into this Shelby's clueless rants that ignore all logical game theory? LOL.

I love these "illuminate is behind all of this" type of people, I mean they are always blaming Jewish people, they are blaming the big rich families like Rothschilds and so forth because lets be honest isn't it easy to just blame someone else for your problems? I mean isn't rich getting richer and poor getting poorer a reality already? So why not put that into some Orwellian Dystopia blame as well? In reality all of this is caused by the rich people but those rich people change, the companies are rich and not the people themselves, you think Jeff Bezos is rich?

Amazon is even richer, you think Bill Gates is rich? Microsoft is richer. So basically as soon as someone else takes over and does the shady stuff then you will realize its not the people that are evil, its the corporations that are making this wealth gap bigger.

I don't believe in conspiracy theories. And this one is an extreme one.
You cannot be kicked from Bitcoin, even if something happens to the chain, a fork will happen that will turn everything back to normal. The author spent a lot of time in attracting attention for nothing.

The restored version at Berlin's Pergamon Museum only represents the front half. An identical section stood behind this facade, with wings that integrated into the city walls. Behind the gate stood the long staircase to the Babylonian Ziggurat, referred to in the Bible as the Tower of Babel.

Rebuilding Babylon:The world's tallest building and vertical city is due to be in Basra,Iraq. It is called The "Bride" of the Gulf.

In his 1933 book, "The Shape of Things to Come " Wells predicts that the headquarters of this world government would be in Basra, Iraq which is relatively near Babylon and modern Iran.

Sumer,Mesopotamia where ALL greek gods of Olympus originate from.Hebrew EDEN translates as DELIGHT, whereas Sumerian EDIN translates as a "desert plain" (modern Iraq).

Inanna is associated with Romantic love, beauty, sex, desire, fertility, war, justice, and political power. She was originally worshipped in Sumer and was later worshipped by the Akkadians, Babylonians, and Assyrians under the name Ishtar. She was known as the "Queen of Heaven"
Ishtar, in Mesopotamian religion, goddess of war and sexual love. Ishtar is the Akkadian counterpart of the West Semitic goddess Astarte the fine lady adorning the starbucks cup which has become the symbol of coffee snob trendies all over the world. The minions from Zuckbook will now be able to swap Zuckbucks for Starbucks Grin

Fun fact: The Ishtar Gate is the 8th gate of Babylon and NOT the 9th as some conspiracy band members state. There is also a fine copy of the structure built within the Pergamon museum in Berlin today. A fine IStargate beside the Altar in fact.

Fun fact: The Greek word for dove means “bird of Ishtar” yet the only bird a demon CANNOT inhabit is a dove. It's true you know Grin
