They really have the nerves to scam people in the daylight! I feel pity for people who sent them funds without knowing that this is a pure scam! I've checked the link and thank God Youtube already removed it but I am sure they'll just keep making videos like this and scam more.

These scammers will never rest most especially on telegram, they devise all means to rob people of their hard earned funds, the most common one now is a malware file they send to you on telegram which hacks your phone whenever clicked upon, so pathetic some people have become victims.
Thanks for the alert!

Hope it becomes possible in Crypto future to quickly freeze money made through easy-to-prove scams like this (assuming it's really scam) and return the coins to their owners.
I think scams like that will probably be handled better in well decentralized community.
Including the feature in decentralized systems will help discourage  people from attempting that kind of scam

There are lots of videos on youtube about exchanges and bonuses.
But you should check who has done it, need official information from the project (exchange) to draw conclusions. New people, or even non-investors in this market, when they saw super-profitable ways to make money, they got involved.

They made $4k out of that  Cheesy

Not necessarily, this could simply be them moving btc/eth from one address to another, to look as if people are actually participating in that "giveaway". I don't think they can even make a $100 out of this. It's that bad of a scam.

They even have a blog/website using the exact same addresses:

Code:
https://telegra.ph/Latest-News-on-Binance--Bitcoin--Ethereum-02-15

http://archive.fo/0acr6

@OP, ill second what semobo said, move this thread to Scam Accusation board: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0

I think you really have to be careful with those things, no legitimate giveaway will ever ask you to "donate" to an address.

Nicely enough it was taken down.

Hey, Vsauce. Michael here. Here's an idea: a subcategory made specifically to denounce scams? For faucets, YouTube videos, pyramid schemes, etc. That would be pretty good for newbies and veterans alike - no more need for "Is x a scam?" because it would probably be easily found in that subcategory.

There are many live streams on youtube that claim that they are Binance.
All of them are scams. Binance never made any giveaway via Youtube. Also, who will believe that they are doing a giveaway of 10,000 BTC? This is a hell of money for a giveaway.

I found this live video. PLEASE REPORT TO AVOID MORE PEOPLE BEING SCAMMED

https://youtu.be/je1vflD429Y

They are impersonating binance in a live and asking people to send money (ether or bitcoin) but it's a scam.

The ethereum address of the scammer already received $1k in past 10 hours 0x5a167ca0b70482bae7004b3a7cc216af7149abcb

Better edit the title into "Fake giveaway-Binance" or something more detailed which describes the issue.Because when people read this topic they will think this is just a troll post about Binance.

And its really need to be moved somewhere like Beginner &Help or in scam accusation to help people.

Thank you such a lot for warning us  In fact  many good sites do of these things to form reputations worse than many reliable ones. But we should always all take care  We all got to report for this elusive one and a half  Then they're going to refrain from doing such activities.
