I am a newbie just trying to grow on this platform. Within a week of participating in altcoin bounties, 2 bounties I participated in have been reported as Scammers. I get a lot of reads on my articles and Social media pages. I cannot keep encouraging people to invest in these altcoins if they would eventually get scammed. How can new bounty hunters like myself differentiate between a genuine bounty and scammers bounty?

In terms of my wallet management:
I have only two(2) myetherwallet, one is for the airdrops and bounty campaigns application so that everything I receive will be on that wallet no matter how many or few of the coins are.
When they have a value then I transfer them into my main wallet that is all coins on that wallet have a good values and no garbage and shit coins sitting on that wallet.

Participate in Bounty from trusted managers (needmoney, yahoo62278, Sylon, ALU, hua_hui), use sites where there is a rating system, for example - http://bountylord.com, https://icobench.com.
I always try to participate in quality projects and your advice on trusted bounty managers is very relevant, I also use this method. It is also very useful to study the project very carefully so as not to waste your time on scammers.

How about editing your online contents deleting all the stuff (I'm sorry for the lost work, but it is necessary) and replacing it with a large Scam Disclaimer?

If you invest in a fake ico or bounty, you cant get anywhere. You cant get back your money anymore. One thing you could do is to just prevent it. One should read the whitepaper where he/she wanted to join. The whitepaper almost tell the ICO if its fake or not. Also try to report the account who is running the ICO in this forum.

The manager of the bounty is a very important thing...there is many trusted manager who never manage a scam ico bounty
Yes, this is a great idea, there was even a topic on the forum about good managers of bounty campaigns with the list of ICO in which they worked. Although there are times when a good bounty manager works in a bad ICO, but it is more an exception to the rules, which only confirms the rule.  Smiley

Unfortunately, no one is immune from bad projects, the main thing is to leave in time, and not to understand at the very end. It is necessary to study ICO better, then there will be no problems.

Of course, this will not give an absolute guarantee, check the bounty manager. If it is proven bounty manager with other ico'and everything went well with the bounty, there would be probably no problem .

I think you should study the project first before you join the bounty. A good project must have a compact and professional team. If you do not study the project there must be a possibility that the project is a scam. So try to learn first.

The best thing you can do when you joined scam bounty campaign is leaving and try to find out a better bounty campaign to join. Don't waste your time to get what you deserve cause you'll never being able to get it. But sometimes although any bounty campaign reported but it's not a scam bounty, just because there are some mistakes like Arcblock also reported as a scam bounty campaign but it's not Smiley

It is really worrisome to realized oneself prompting scam project. It is only better to review any project in question before promoting it.

Whitepaper is also a method of distinguish between a legit ICO and a scam ICO and I think that it can help you. Here are the 3 elements I would personally look out for in the white paper to discern if a project is a scam or legit:
- Vision: The vision of the ICO as articulated in the white paper would give you an idea of how long term or short term the project is. In additon, check out for unique selling point in the positioning of the ICO. What is so unique about the solutions that they are providing in the market space?
-Team: It would be a wise idea to do a background check on core members of the team– do they have strong track record and reputation in the roles that they are supposed to be serving in?
- Language and focus of the whitepaper: Pay attention to the language and focus of the white paper. Here, I would like you to pay attention to the overall feeling you get after reading the White Paper.

It has been really frustrating. Online world tie has become a place of deceit. Earlier, only the ICO would have been scam. Now being bounty scam. Where do people believe?

Pay attention to the team of bounty managers. See what projects they have already accompanied. If there were bad reviews - then do not mess with them
