Referral scam and phishing links are one of the fraud methods in the last century, people will become more aware of them and children will not believe them.
Once you see any referral airdrop that indicate uniswap giveaway then this is obviously 100% scam. Referrals arent bad but uniswap is a governance tokeb that are used for such proposals. If referral based project would used that and it not make no sense at all.

Damn rats. Cant keep their works quietly, they always thought some will always fall for this kind of common scam method.

There are bunch of such sites and many come every single day I doubt these threads help with anything.
If not, then at least it showcase information. How many chance a user drop by here and check this kind. Even though there are lots of sites everyday, sharing this would always be useful if not now maybe later on.

At least this thread can help those who don't know that this phishing site always comes with a different one even though you say this is doubtful it will help but at least they are a little aware that now a lot of phishing sites come every day and hang around everywhere.

MEW is hard to re-create. How much time they spent to do it!!
Sadly, it's not. All you have to do is to create an identical home page (copy paste) and add few lines of code to save whatever the victim types on the server or to send it to your email.
There are even free tools that you can use to create phishing pages for any website you want.
This is probably the dumbest phishing attempt and any one who's used MEW before will notice the difference. Hope no one will fall for it.

Uniswap is a popular domain, the scammer will try to trape newbie to entering phishing. If you see how many fake out there, I won't be surprised.

Quote
We identified 266 domains similar to uniswap.org.
https://dnstwister.report/search?ed=756e69737761702e6f7267 Some of them still live.

I also caught some of them here > 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7

What the point is, don't use the searching machine. The newbie must bookmark and write exact https://uniswap.org/ into the browser.

That is why we always remember what is uniswap address or web address, I think the newcomers are the most vulnerable to this kind of scam since they don't know what to do they maybe have used this site, I think this scam will never stop as long as there are people to be victimized, we should really , very helpful this should alarm other to be aware of the address before looging in their credentials.

Obviously, the page is a subdomain of the adhef.com, its not uniswap.

Yes, base on the whois domain tools,
.

This is like a phishing website of Uniswap. This will get your private key/Phrase if you connect your MEW to this website. We all know that you can only get UNI tokens if you have used the real Uniswap before the date of the snapshot which I believe was Sept 1. If you have not used the Uniswap before this date,  yet you login in hopes to collect airdrop then you'd likely get robbed.

True, but I'm sure there will be gullible individuals who blindly trust this kind of supposedly Uniswap tokens. Because it is the hottest tokens and so far many are still hoping that they get on the bandwagon early to get that huge airdrop.

And for the MEW, no one should give their mnemonic seeds or phrases to any crypto related websites, this is not a safe practice.

Referral scam and phishing links are one of the fraud methods in the last century, people will become more aware of them and children will not believe them. It takes more talk about it and its risks, and we will win the battle against the fraudsters.

scam and spam will end with more people investigate about it.

MEW is hard to re-create. How much time they spent to do it!!

There should be somewhere where to report those links. Bad guys now spreading the phishy links everywhere where surely someone will use and give them his keys.

Yes hard to recreate but the bad guys won't find it difficult. Probably, what they do is use the picture of MEW homepage as background and our the pishing script for people to drop thier keys.

This is not an easy task with MEW.It's a very complicated interface with a lot of dynamic layers, not just a simple image. If they can really build that kind of interfaces then it's a treasury itself and it will be pathetic to use such skills in stealing others.

There is a site grabber utility that they could just use to copy MEW interface and then deploy it on their webserver. HTTrack or PMirrorget software I think will do.
The only they want here is to get you to connect your MEW and if you input your privatekey or the phrase, it's going to be stored where they can just copy-paste to login to your ETH wallet.

Thanks for sharing this though I won't fall in such fake uniswap. I have used uniswap before so I should know what is the real domain name of uniswap. It would be very risky if the domain name of the fake uniswap is almost the same as the real one with almost the same name where the letter a or something is different like the other fake site.

Most forum users will not fall from this trap but there are users outside the forum that do fall from this scheme. So hopefully, they will do quick search in google and stumble this thread. These 2 popular sites are commonly imitated because they can rip off the funds from the users, if they are not too careful.

Shouldn't it just be about watching out for uniswap in its entirety, so many complains already, I think if you don't know about uniswap, de-fi avoid the risk, at least till when you understand it.
Altcoin,de-fi,uniswap breads risky and scam, some might say same it still in bitcoin, yes scams are every where but altcoin project -real,fake- may have a greater risk in it failing, scam and more.in between be careful in all.

Watch out for fake Uniswap and MyEtherWallet and don't connect your wallets or send them any coins.
They are making fake rewards and claiming they are sending bonus ethereum coins.
