I think CSW is just a part of bigger picture attack on Bitcoin, and even if everyone knows he is not the real Satoshi, he can be used in future for various manipulations.

Many websites, including Jameson Lopp website posted Bitcoin whitepaper on their website after this action from CSW lawyers:

I've hosted the Bitcoin whitepaper for years. I eagerly await my lawsuit. The fraud who does not deserve to be named can't sue us all.
https://twitter.com/lopp/status/1352198321813803010

MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor posted Bitcoin whitepaper on his websites, Square Crypto, SkyBridge Capital. Blockstream, Fidelity Digital Assets uploaded whitepaper and many other websites.

This is the right attitude Smiley
Now, this is a strong move against a clown and a fraud in this community, next thing should be (and hoping) crypto exchanges hosting bitcoin whitepaper and delist this shitcoin make this fraud cry.

Lol! CSW is leaving no stones unturned in proving himself as the real Satoshi! Sometimes I wonder, what he will gain if we all agree that he is Satoshi? He doesn't have the key to original Satoshi's addresses so he can't take over the coins! What else could be the reason!

If he has the keys to take over the coins he could have done that already. But it is clear that he doesn't have access to all such stuffs. He is probably just trying to seek more attention so that he can promote his own coin!
This guy do really need some attention. what he's trying to prove out? All of us in the community know that he's isnt satoshi and now he's trying to fight about copywright claim on thing that he dont actually own?

This man have no shame and just continuing to look himself funny in the public on claiming things which are obviously a full of shit. When this guy will ever stop?

...snip...

Cøbra from Bitcoin.org said that Bitcoin was released under MIT license and can be freely distributed.

...snip...

It's true ...

Some proof that Bitcoin.pdf is MIT licensed.

In March 2009, nakamoto2 added the bitcoin.pdf file with License: MIT License to Sourceforge.

Faketoshi is back with new crazy legal stuff.

Craig Wright lawyers accused websites bitcoin.org and bitcoincore.org for copyright infringement, and they claim CSW is the real Satoshi Nakamoto and that he owns Bitcoin whitepaper and domain bitcoin.org!
They say CSW decided it is time to enforce copyright rights  Cheesy

Cøbra from Bitcoin.org said that Bitcoin was released under MIT license and can be freely distributed.

Quote
Yesterday both Bitcoin.org and Bitcoincore.org received allegations of copyright infringement of the Bitcoin whitepaper by lawyers representing Craig Steven Wright. In this letter, they claim Craig owns the copyright to the paper, the Bitcoin name, and ownership of bitcoin.org. They also claim he is Satoshi Nakamoto, the pseudonymous creator of Bitcoin, and the original owner of bitcoin.org. Bitcoin.org and Bitcoincore.org were both asked to take down the whitepaper. We believe these claims are without merit, and refuse to do so.

Unfortunately, without consulting us, Bitcoin Core developers scrambled to remove the Bitcoin whitepaper from bitcoincore.org, in response to these allegations of copyright infringement, lending credence to these false claims. The Bitcoin Core website was modified to remove references to the whitepaper, their local copy of the whitepaper PDF was deleted, and with less than 2 hours of public review, this change was merged. By surrendering in this way, the Bitcoin Core project has lent ammunition to Bitcoin’s enemies, engaged in self-censorship, and compromised its integrity. This surrender will no doubt be weaponized to make new false claims, like that the Bitcoin Core developers “know” CSW to be Satoshi Nakamoto and this is why they acted in this way.

The Bitcoin whitepaper was included in the original Bitcoin project files with the project clearly published under the MIT license by Satoshi Nakamoto. We believe there is no doubt we have the legal right to host the Bitcoin whitepaper. Furthermore, Satoshi Nakamoto has a known PGP public key, therefore it is cryptographically possible for someone to verify themselves to be Satoshi Nakamoto. Unfortunately, Craig has been unable to do this.

We will continue hosting the Bitcoin whitepaper and won’t be silenced or intimidated. Others hosting the whitepaper should follow our lead in resisting these false allegations.
