Oh , wait did you mean fall like:
a) the failure , which is not the case
b) fall , like the autumn of bitcoin , just as false cause it's already winter.

it cant fall too much... the difficulty keeps going up so it has to keep up with it.

The price has got nothing to do with difficulty now.

Also the value is still greater than the rise that ended on the 9th! So it's actually not even a correction! It's another rise!!!!!!!!!!
C'mon mate, get real  Tongue

No, you get real.

Had the price steadily risen, interspersed with small corrections since October from $140 to ~ $500 today, I wouldn't hesitate diving in with the 10K I have set aside for Btc investment. but given what has just happened, there is not a fkn chance am I putting in a penny until the price stabilises. Now, considering that I will not be the only investor who is loss averse and is thinking like this, what do you think this will spell for Btc for the near future?

Market ramping pumpers and dumpers know this. Anyone tried to ramp the market now, they would just lose money (yes, I believe Btc is manipulated just as all asset markets are manipulated), so they aint going to do it which means the price will have to be allowed to settle in order to restore confidence.

it cant fall too much... the difficulty keeps going up so it has to keep up with it.

Who is to say that Btc should be worth anything? Btc value is determined by the value that the market places on it and right now that market is overwhelmingly speculator driven.

Also people should stop using the word correction when a crash is happening.

Is not a crash, the value decreased to the value before the BIG rise of the 18th. I think today and on the next days we will see the bitcoin rising gradually again.

We don't know if this fall has stopped, the next days will give us an answer.

It goes through cycles. After every boom there is a bust, but it ends up higher than the starting point. If Bitcoin goes down to $200 it will still be higher than what it was a month back.

All these is expected. If you are not good at trading, buy when the markets are calm and hold. Thats what I do.

Well, I think we can be absolute sure by now, that most Bitcoin speculators have a Bipolar Disorder, as you can clearly see in the speculation Board.

I wonder if this fact eventually will be useful for psychology if studied further.

But not, people are selling lots of bitcoins every hour and this is not good for bitcoin!

Rises and falls in price happens, what matters is average monthly and yearly price. If correction worries you soo much, you should not check price everyday

Lets reflect why bitcoin is falling so fast?

So you have an explanation other than speculation about the meteoric rise of the last couple of weeks?
If not don't ask about why it's falling so fast.
