New people getting interested in bitcoin come to bitcointalk and look around. Seeing threats of this nature will drive away potential enthusiasts. It is surprising that the mods do not ban members that seek to destroy the integrity of bitcointalk.

I don't think it is the mods' job to ban stuff like this; this should be handled as all other nonsense: either take the time to explain why it doesn't make sense, or laugh at it and then ignore it.
