Here to show some love for the sometimes overlooked shows from the (IMO) golden age of British TV humor.

Monty Python
Only Fools and Horses
Blackadder
Mr. Bean
You Rang, M'Lord
Red Dwarf
Fawlty Towers
House of Cards

I actually enjoyed OFHs Rodneys (Nicholas Lyndhurst) show After You've Gone from 2007, and of course, in Blackadder you had a chance to see the brilliance that would years later make Hugh Laurie a household face. Fawlty Towers is in a league of its own. That humor was straight out of Monty Pythons book (John Cleese, duh) and is, I would say, more brutal than any of the other mentioned shows.
The British version of House of Cards is far more terrifying than the American one. It just has more grittiness and slime oozing from its pores.

The above-mentioned shows might not be so popular in the states and might not be considered Famous in that regard, but in Europe they were HUGE.

Oh, and I almost forgot. Poirot! David Suchet was brilliant in it. A roller for the ages.

And On the Buses...what a gem...

Damn, I have to stop now, they just keep poping up, I need to binge watch all of them Cheesy
I've been rewatching the American version of house of cards lately.

I watched nearly half of the series in this list. Game of Thrones is one of the best series ever for me but the last season was terrible and I don't want to talk about it. Grin Money Heist was very good especially in the first 2 seasons but they made a huge mistake by extending it. I didn't like the last 2 seasons. Stranger Things is very good and I enjoyed every season of it. I am definitely going to watch its new season when it is released on Netflix. I watched Spartacus too but not all seasons of it. But I can say that I liked it too.

"Better Call Saul"  is somehow the continuation of Breaking Bad's Saul Goodman the lawyer of Walter White. Definitely a good one.
"Lodge 49"  A typical funny series. Not really the best that I like but it's close to making you think about what could happen in the next episode. Sadly season 3 takes too long to be released.

There are lots of good ones to watch but depends on your type of movies that you will be entertained. There are many of Fantasy adventure series like Game Of Thrones such as "American Gods" for people with dark humor.

I see that there is no OZ on the list, and Deadwood too, which I consider a sin. Cheesy

Justified is also a pretty solid one with more modern version of Bullock from Deadwood by Timothy Oliphant.
