It's really sad news from Faucetbox, but let's be honest, it wasn't very big surprise. We all know that Faucetbox Adsense account was banned and without it become really hard to keep service. And I can understand Kazuldur decision not to sell service. Yes, potential buyer Mexicantarget is trusted guy, but no one can guarantee that he will run services successfully. And if he fails, many can blame Kazuldur for that.
Yes I have also think that, Faucetbox closing his site because of adsence. Now adsence is trying to remove their ads from all popular faucet website.

I just announced the project, it can be found in the link you quoted. Please keep an eye on it about progress.
It should launch in a week from now, it'll be operational.

I'll be adding more features. New features as well Smiley

FaucetBOX takes a 1% fee on Bitcoin deposits, and a maximum of 1.7% on any other coin. I have no idea where you got 5% from.

@ minifrij
Didn't knew that is 1% now but i wasted my time to show you proofs and you should pay for my wasted time but its a draw  Grin because you gave the link for the actual fees , anyways so you are right not 5% right now or not anymore Grin

They said that is a not profitable https://faucetbox.com/en/closing Grin I don't believe it , as long as they charge 5% from faucet owners deposits i don't see how this can be no profitable. Lies.
FaucetBOX takes a 1% fee on Bitcoin deposits, and a maximum of 1.7% on any other coin. I have no idea where you got 5% from.
Keep in mind that they also have to pay the fees on withdrawals, which is what has eaten up a significant amount of their money. Because faucet owners did not care for the service, they moaned until the fees were lowered. This resulted in FaucetBOX making around a 1.25BTC loss from Bitcoin's fees of sending over the network. Granted, ads helped supplement this somewhat, but seemingly not enough.

It is very simple to see that this service was not profitable to run, and calling the people running it liars after tying to do nothing but please faucet owners is pissing on their grave.
That service could be profitable to run. In a very simple way, too.

A lot of us depended on faucetbox's service. I personally didn't care about the previous fee they had. It's normal for users who launch a faucet today and close it in a month that they're gonna moan about higher fee than 1%. (or any fee, actually)

You can't simply satisfy everyone. It's everyone vs your business. You're the one running your business. There's always customers who'll stick around for X or Y reason.

Anyway.
Since you've been "helping" them somehow, can you tell me why wouldn't they want to sell their project? What if the pope asked them to buy it, they wouldn't still sell it?

They handled their business professionally ever since I got into faucet business. But what they're doing right now, isn't quite professional. They're getting offers from people who're legit and honest in bitcoin business, yet, they don't want to sell the project, because of "image".

How do users feel when they have to move to other providers, instead of just staying on the same provider with a new team/owner/admin/call it anyhow?
^ That's the part which doesn't make sense. That's why people are suspicious/making up conspiracy theories, etc.

Are you sure about this news? faucetbox going to shutdown their services. if this true then its a bad news.

yes, it is true. what I do not understand is why. No reason, no explanation

Maybe faucetbox requires to much work to be maintained or had to many attack attempts from hackers. Or maybe there is a forced decision to shut down  due to political/corruption (if any) in his area. Who knows..
You are wrong, fees are much lower than you said
https://faucetbox.com/en/fees
I remember they lowered it few months ago if I'm not wrong.

oh God , Faucetbox is closing. Going to disable all APIs of faucets.

Is there anything similar that can be used?
There are things like Xapo, but they are less anonymous for earnings and require lots of informaiton just to earn from them.

This is quite strange as they should really be in nprofit based on the number of users who use their services?

Are your services fully operational yet?

I guess he put much effort in it and one day it turned into migraine which realized that the project is unsustainable which couldn't be continued anymore.
I experienced the same thing.

There's something going on with faucetbox, they're not saying what's up.

I when I read the news on their site suspected to have anything beyond the site not be profitable behind this decision to close the site

Anyway, I've offered them $2000. If they want to sell it, I'll be around.

looking at measures they have adopted, they show that they do not want the site has bad name. by pride they do not sell the site
True. Faucetbox built much trust. Who would be the new owner? How trustworthy would be the bew owner? Would he put much work in it?

Lol, is this really true? So how will we receive our payments from faucets sites?

Some people are earning a high daily income there, what will happen now?

They will move to other similar services. The faucet business isn't really popular anymore though, it used to be in around 2013 when the price hype was in fame. I used to play on faucets non-stop.

I'm launching my own service. I'll have to, I run way too many projects to waste time by using another provider.

Hardest decision I have right now is picking a name for the project

I and many others have full faith in you. But still if you can convince those Faucet box people out there to sell it to you. If they want to save name of FaucetBox. Offer them to change the name and they can keep the name with them for any projects they want in future.

That way you are saved a lot of basic work and can concentrate on making it better. Other wise it again takes a few months to just make new service stable.

In any case please provide us with the API for sure.  Grin

No sane captain would allow his ship sink without looking into alternatives.

Anyway, I've offered them $2000. If they want to sell it, I'll be around.

I'm starting coding tomorrow when I wake up. I can bring a new service to life in under a week.

Peace out folks

looks pretty official to me. they lost their google adsense a while ago, that is probably why.
What do you mean by loosing adsense? There was no adds on main page, right?
Anybody know other reasons for this decision?
Pretty surprising that this site is closing... thought that was good business.
But I'm sure that something else will pop up in place.
You're right.

building on the faucetbox name would be good. maybe something like... faucetbay... or something else. maybe do a public vote?
