You are fast lol
I think your service will be better than paytoshi/epay and xapo have some bot attack problems too, if you solve it on your service, will be the number 1...
Since you have a lot of projects and dedication, I think it will be great, thank you!
Don't let the faucets die.
Hi,
There's no real protection from bots, if someone wants to bot something, he'll do it.
I've been running websites (not faucets) for near a decade now. "Hackers" and script kiddies will always try to exploit our sites, no matter what.
It's up to us to stop them before they do big damage.
Since faucets attract more malicious users because of
free bitcoin, they're even more motivated to exploit them. Adding multiple layers of protection wont stop them, but it will drop the rate of attacks a lot, since not all of them have the same knowledge/skills.
What I'm trying to do is add complex algos which will prevent the majority of them do so.
Thanks for your kind words, appreciate it!
This looks good,
Will we have to change the faucet box api system in our sites or will we just be able to replace api keys and its up and running? i dont really understand how that stuff works lol
Just the keys man
sounds great!
Thanks!
I'll surely migrate to your service if you have implemented ALL the security features Faucetbox had:
First and foremost is Two-factor authentication. Also, "payout limit" feature in which we only a specified amount can be withdrawn for the API every 30 minutes. I usually set it to around 0.003 BTC so if the hacker gained access to hosting/API, he couldn't empty the wallet. It happened to me earlier this year when I lost 0.2BTC.
Also, there are some more security features on Faucetbox worth adding.

Hey,
2FA is a MUST! I encourage all faucet owners, no matter which provider/site(s) they use, to turn on 2FA. An extra layer of security is better than no security.
Prevention is better than cure.
Regarding, threshold limit, there's going to be one. That was my favorite feature on faucetbox and I developed a lot of stuff on top of it on my sites.
4-5 months ago, faucetgame got exploited through blackjack game (not faucetbox's problem) and my threshold was way too high.
Fortunately, faucetbox jumped in and saved the day. No other microwallet service would do better job.
They were able to reverse it and get that bitcoin back into my faucetbox account.
I'll be using all the good features I've seen that are worth having. I'm also going to encourage users using HastyHosts.com (ran by faucetbox folks) and it'll be used in the faucet script I'll be releasing later this year (or at least before faucetbox goes completely off).
Thanks for your feedback!
