Ill have some different coins that until now i'm still holding it on my wallet, Because this coins was a potential coin so i'm decided to hold it until the price of it will increase, But some of them ill sell it early because of needed for money on that time.
Ethereum is the best coin for today. I consider it as a change of ordinary money. I think this is obvious. Because soon it will probably bypass Bitcoin. 
I do not have any favourite coins from 2018, because that year was a complete disaster for the whole crypto community. You needed to be a pro to make at least some profit, but I am still in and waiting for the better market conditions.
My favorite coins in 2018 are BTC coins and ETH coins, I often get the advantage of investing in ETH and BTC coins, in 2019 I don't have a favorite coin

My favorite so far will be Geeba. I like the technology behind it since it uses robots which is a new area most experts and tech gurus are now making new huge discoveries.

2018 was a bad year for altcoins and cryptocurrency in general but even at that I had some altcoin that in my opinion did tangibly well

Yes, Ripple is obviously one of the best, because it showed only a positive trend, despite the general decline in the market and all cryptocurrencies. All these assets you have, they are very good.

I am an conservative person and I don't change my attitude to crypto. So my favorite altcoin is Ethereum. Despite some talks about Ethereum like unperspective I still believe this coin and hold a big number of it.

My favorite today has fallen to the floor. It will be difficult to get back up when it's rivaled by the others. I had great hopes with the coin and held it in large quantities with large capital. When prices go down without stopping it makes me a little sad.

For me personally, this is the Odyssey coin. I earned very good money on it this year and I hope to buy it again when it will cost less than 80 Satoshi
Your favorite coin can only be the coin which earned you profit and if not why calling them favorite because it's doing well in market.
mine is Hydro I so much love that project I earned some token through their airdrop even though I sell them quickly i still make enough profit than i expected. The coin gave me a laptop and who am I not to call that my favorite coin of the year.

My favourite coins were stable coins, because they have not lost more than 80 percent of their prices 
But seriously the most beloved coin during 2018 was Bitcoin and it was also the most stable coin if you compare it with alts.

This year I do not see good coins that should be stored , I came out in January and wait for the moment when it will be possible to enter the coins , but definitely I will enter the top coins by type of Ethereum and eos here they will make good money in the next bullish trend!
There is a chance that zcash may become very popular in the near future. It is the only coin with the feature of full anonymity and it is very important considering the pressure from financial institutes
In 2018, I probably could not choose a project that was good for me, although many people earned very good money on the XRP project, but I am not a supporter of this project, and it is not out of principle that I invested in this project.
my favorite coin in the outgoing 2018, this is XAYA previously called Chimaera .. I make big bets on this coin, the coin is made for games, it has a very convenient wallet, a coin with a strong community and constant development from the team, I think it will go ahead and will bring considerable dividends to its holders
There are some coins which had the intensive growth right after their listing, like QTUM and ELF. Now QTUM is x40 from the ATH, ELF is x10 from ATH. Looks pretty good
My favourite coin for this year has been Ethereum and Neo. Mostly Ethereum.... I think Ether is the most used coin this year because of ICo's, airdrops and bounties paid in ERC20 tokens.
