My favourite coin is EOS. Scalability is one of the most talked-about issues in 2018, and EOS is a high-performance blockchain positioned to capture that value. EOS plans to launch with 1,000–6,000 TPS. If this is realized, they will have one of the fastest blockchains available today. EOS achieves high performance through the use of Delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) with a relatively small amount (21) of Block Producers.

I think you should consider Ethereum. The founder of Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin, recently hinted at an upgrade which might drastically enhance the scalability of Ethereum. This will be made possible by a concept known as Sharding. Sharding is such that, instead of all network participants validating each transaction, only a select few will be saddled with this responsibility. It will cause transactions to be validated simultaneously and this will cause room for growth.

I like NEO. Whether or not NEO will usurp Ethereum as the world’s ICO platform remains to be seen. But NEO is already 12th in the cryptocurrency rankings with a market cap of over 2 billion dollars, according to Coinmarketcap – and NEO comes from China, so it has an enormous home market even before it spreads internationally. So what is certain even at this stage, rankings aside, is that it stands to become a major player in the future economy.

I really like the price of the Bitcoin Gold price, it has fallen 12-13 times since the beginning of the year. I think that growth will be good in the near future.

what do you mean favorite coin. there are simply very promising projects. which are also included in the top 10 top 15. they need to be guided. with a few exceptions, of course.

for Ethereum is my favorite Altcoin to be my flagship coin in 2018. as it is for Ethereum with ever-increasing developments it will be very capable of being a precious coin in the future. so I will continue to support Ethereum to be a valuable main coin.

It still hasn't been launched but MET (Menlo Token) is by far the token with an extremely high growth potential. It will have its token sale this July and I'm very excited to see what's going to happen.

If you're interested in ICOs...These are A couple ICOs that haven't launched yet but they have peaked my interest personally, Muirfield IP and Fr8 Network.
Fr8 Network's goal is to remove intermediaries from supply chains and bring revenue back to distributors and carriers.
Muirfield is a private equity fund on the blockchain.

Currently, observing the dip in the market, I believe Litecoin to be the best coin for 2018. When all the coins are struggling presently, Litecoin has shown great stability in the past 3 years and holds a market capital of $5 billion right now. It is considered as the silver to bitcoin's gold. The coin has a blockchain of 2.5 minutes and since Segwit activation, this has seen a great improvement. Adoption by Coinbase, has increased the coin's market value and the coin has the potential to cross the $400 mark in the next 3 months. It is a great coin and you can expect good returns from the coin.

I'd still go with either ETH or BTC for this one. I think these two will be the most profitable coin even for this year. Just thinking of the probable 20k$ peak of BTC makes me see the profit we could all get by holding onto it until the mooning.

My only favorite coin in the market is ethereum because of it's stability even it falls down it's price. it only decreases it's price in a slowly movement like a really stable one in most of the currency that I invested last year that's why I keep looking for some currency that will be like ethereum or maybe it will surpass how good it is. That's why I read and research some currency about their details to better know some of them.

I favor ADA (Cardano) as a must-have coin
in this storm, the ADA remains a stable coin and is able to withstand falling prices

My favorite coin of 2018 is Omisego. And here are 5 reasons why:
