can't say i have a favorite, but i think after spending some time with certain people, you can get a feel for how you'd get along if it were in real life, and there are a few people i think i would get along with.

I can't really say I've got a favourite, but DannyHamilton's posts are always informative and in depth and he helps out a lot of newbs.

I believe this thread should be in Meta.

Really? I thought it'd be an off-topic thread. It's more of a popularity contest than a discussion about anything to do with the actual forum and its workings.

FYI just to give context to Cyrus's post, I had originally posted the topic in Bitcoin Discussion, mostly because it was related to the Bitcoin Community.

Cyrus is right that it does relate to the forum, so Meta might seem like an option, but having reviewed it after seeing a similarly themed post (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/post-your-total-time-logged-into-bitcointalk-199415) I decided that Off-Topic would be the best option.

Keep those votes coming in. I won't be collating and publishing any results or anything, just interesting to share thoughts and give credit to those where it is due.

Lucif / Masterluc. i learned so much from watching this guy's analysis on BTC/USD in the Speculation forum. helped me grow from being a lazy losing trader to a rigorous profitable trader. Smiley  we are very lucky that he shares with us for free in Speculation! Smiley

For me its this guy https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/gavin-andresen-224 because of his immense contribution towards the development of BTCitcoin both as a currency and a technology.

Thank you sir!

Depends which subforum we're talking about. They're all like their own biomes.

PG, Vod, and Dank. They all make my day in different ways. PG is great at proving people wrong, and trolling them at the same time. Vod is like the ghost busters for scammers, and, jeez. Some of his posts are funny, like PG's and Dank's. And Dank is just... One of the biggest trolls on the site. Especially to people like Newbies, or don't know what he did.

I like Tomatocage because he deals with the shit job of banning scammers.   I wish more people had the ability to ban scammers on this forum.  Thanks Tomatocage for watching out for some people and dealing with the shit scum of this forum.

Who is your favourite Bitcointalk member and why?

Is it a member of staff? Perhaps it is Satoshi, or one of the core developers/contributors to Bitcoin and its community. Maybe it is somebody who has been consistently helpful and informative, or maybe it is somebody who simply makes you laugh.

If you have more than one member that you would like to mention then go ahead. I don't plan to collate and publish the results, it's more of an acknowledgement of those who have contributed and/or continue to make the forum an enjoyable experience.

Let's keep this positive, focus only on those who bring good to the Bitcointalk community Smiley

I'll get the ball rolling: my favourite member is DannyHamilton. I find myself nodding in agreeance with everything he says, plus I've learned a lot from his consistently informative posts.

Note to all: This is a self-moderated topic so please no abuse or off-topic responses else they may be deleted.
