.....“[Trump’s] not ever going to become president, right? Right?!” Page texted Strzok in one exchange in August 2016.

“No. No he won’t. We’ll stop it,” Strzok replied.....

I'm glad these morons are not employed by the FBI anymore.

Damned agent not doing his job;

He should have acted, considering there was credible intelligence that says Trump colluded with a foreign hostile nation, which accounts to treason.

Last I checked, treason is a federal crime which requires the FBI to investigate and prosecute.

I think everyone knows that Trump and Putin are friends.
No matter how frightening each other is, it's like a circus.
These are the two most powerful countries, if they start a war - there will be a boom
That's why I'm glad they are together.

Oh man. RT is a good source of destructive misinformation. RT is most of all for marginalized people, those who tend to believe in all sorts of incredible things about their own government in America or other Western countries.
This has been fairly widely reported, and in this case is accurate.

This is very concerning, and is another example of the Obama "Deep State" and abuse of power that took place under his administration.

I would be willing to speculate that the "Russia" investigation will ultimately result in multiple indictments of people associated with Clinton and that work(ed) in various intelligence agencies under Obama.

Why the attack on RT?
Is the information fake?
To the main issue, workers have a right to hold political opinions but they should be trained on how best to handle that when they are in sensitive positions like this two FBI agents.

I bet ou heard of "crucified boy" from Ukraine, they stood behind this story. Russian RT is nothing more than an instrument of Russian propaganda in the context of information war. If you do not mind translating from Russian, then you can review some fakes spread by them here: https://theins.ru/antifake/58435

The agent who worked on the FBI investigation into the Trump campaign’s alleged ties to Russia told his colleague and lover that the agency would work to “stop” Donald Trump from becoming president.FBI special agent Peter Strzok and lawyer Lisa Page – who were having an affair –  briefly worked on Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s ‘Russiagate’ investigation. They exchanged thousands of text messages, some of which were pointedly anti-Trump.“[Trump’s] not ever going to become president, right? Right?!” Page texted Strzok in one exchange in August 2016.

“No. No he won’t. We’ll stop it,” Strzok replied. The messages were first made public on Thursday, ahead of the Justice Department inspector general’s report on the FBI’s handling of the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email server use. Strzok and Page had worked on that investigation as well.Page’s question had been previously published, but Strzok’s reply had been redacted until now. Republicans and President Trump have argued that these messages showed proof of bias within the agency.

“A man is tweeting to his lover that if [Clinton] loses, we’ll essentially do the insurance policy,” Trump told the Wall Street Journal earlier this year. “We’ll go to phase two and we’ll get this guy out of office.”. “This is the FBI we’re talking about — that is treason,” the president continued. “That is a treasonous act. What he tweeted to his lover is a treasonous act.”
