Feathercoin is very special, can make a long-term investment, do not spend too much effort, can easily buy, because it on many exchanges.
Perhaps you are right, recently began to look closely to the project and the coin for investment and very interested I can say. The coin is time-tested and has long established itself as a reliable project and investment.

You can now get a Digital Bitbox Hardware wallet with 20% discount under this special Feathercoin-discount website: https://shiftcrypto.ch/shop_ftc

Digital Bitbox works perfectly with our desktop wallet Electrum-FTC.

I think that I will take this as a long term investment at least when they sell cheap it, maybe a way to go.

yes I can see that we have a few more weeks of declines before the next excitement.

We have released the Electrum-FTC 3.1 version!

That means our Electrum Feathercoin wallet has now the latest features from the (Bitcoin) Electrum wallet.

We are very happy with the great work ThomasV and his team did with Electrum and are actively contributing through our developers to improve Electrum (see https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/pull/4408 https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/pull/4427 https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/pull/4371 https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/pull/4308 https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/pull/4149 etc etc). More to come!

More hardware wallet support:
After the guys from Satoshi Labs merged our pull request, Trezor support for Feathercoin should be just around the corner and come with the next Trezor firmware release (https://github.com/trezor/trezor-common/pull/105).

BTCPay, the open source payment processor software, gets support for Feathercoin thanks to ChekaZ !

What this means in practice:
- Merchants can now easily accept FTC themselves, being fully independent
- Payment processors, brokers and exchanges can just use BTCPay and offer that as a service for companies that want to accept FTC (as well as BTC, LTC)
- As soon as we have Lightning ported for Feathercoin we get instant Lightning support ootb for merchants thanks to BTCPay !

Thanks again for ChekaZ for doing all the implementation work.

It would be really great help from your side if you can spend 60 seconds of your time and give us your valuable feedback for our two recent updates 1) Snapshot and 2) Colourful interface of Feathercoin at: https://cointopper.com/coin/feathercoin

Constructive criticisms are always welcome at CoinTopper.  Thank you!!

I quite like it, would probably add links to one of these explorers:

In relative comments on the success of this coin for 5 years from now, can we believe these thoughts? Maybe yes or maybe not, but yes if really are in the plans of this coin 10 years after its creation, 2023 your prices will be high. Leaving the speculative idea aside, at the present moment can we really believe in this currency?

2023 is 5 years from now, which is a little under the amount of time FTC has been around. I think its very hard to predict where it'll be simply because it offers nothing new, its basically a litecoin adaptation. I think it could be worth a few bucks if they get some partnerships and adoption, but otherwise it'll be gone before 2019 is over

That's an old debate, but it's actually Litecoin offering nothing new to Bitcoin these days. Feathercoin has done something in a different way.

and tell me, can you believe in LTC, ETH, BTC or others?
From my point of view, FTC has stable base devs, good development, strong community, stable POW network with ASIC/FPGA resistant algo,  ... that all is more than other 50-70% of cryptocurrencies, they do not have it and will never have. You have to realize that 3/4 of coins were created only for speculations on the exchanges, a lots of them with huge premines.
eg, I use FTC and LTC almost every week for real txs within my friends and others, not only for speculative buy/sells at exchanges. Really do not think that 3/4 of current coins will be alive years later, I only know that FTC will be one of the successful.

Stable devs ? lol

I exposed them for the scammers they are years ago thanks to their public and private mining software/ kernels.

You have been told many times, but you don't seem to have listened. The first NeoScrypt GPU miner, CGminer v3.7.x, was slow. The community hired a programmer for this job who had no prior experience with crypto and even no AMD GPU for testing. Yet the miner worked and was open source. Wolf0 improved it and kept a faster version for himself and his private sales. WTF had you expected the FTC devs to do with it? When I had time and hardware available, I wrote NSGminer and released it open source with no private kernels.
