Some guy with a 80MH/s farm is on TBF now. He alone is 5x hash rate of the entire Suprnova pool which is lagging behind. TBF is on the right chain.

I suppose v0.9.x releases have compatibility issues. While end users may still run them, it's better for pools and exchanges to stay with v0.8.7 or v0.11.2 for now. Backward compatibility with v0.8.7 is important.
What is the current good chain ?
Use v0.8.7.x with -disablesafemode for now. It should get over the v0.9 chain in a few hours. 1114945 blocks, 41 connection right now.

is there an up to date boot strap?
When non-v0.9 wallets recognised they are on a shorter chain and couldn’t reorganise to the v0.9 chain, they dropped into safe mode. The Bitcoin Core developers decided some time ago when a wallet drops into safe mode, it disables all RPC commands. This is dangerous. Therefore pools had their Stratum front ends running, but couldn’t submit any work to their daemons. They were stuck.

IMHO it must be some sort of attack, FTC was one of the most stable, problem-free coins hosted here

Hey ghostlander, any idea's why FTC is so prone to orphans? It the only coin on my pool that makes more orphans then valid blocks.

Maybe you're low on connections? If you add a few permanent ones to other big pools, it should help.
I've tried that already. Tried having 64 connections and still no improvements.

These branches were done by different developers mostly. Something got lost in translation apparently.
Ok so now what? The fork post says to upgrade to 0.9.3 ... which for pools.... sucks....
I get this now on the 0.8.7.2
