to many bad experiences.

and to think that i was about to overthrow the eur and usd in favour of crypto, whenever someone would want to do the same they would have to get throught me first.
We'd all have a bad experience and market disappointments. There is a time to relax and stay away from the crypto world, many times I'd come up with that decision but later on, I'd come and start to buy some coins. That is really how the life's going on, and have to accept that. Maybe this is not the right time for you or this was not the right place either. I'd come back to crypto again because that is what I feel and I corrected my mistake already which I think you should have to that at as well. Or to leave forever.

What is/are your bad experiences? You can share it here, so maybe we can help you or give an advice or answer for the things that make you confused.

Since for me, since I started using crypto, I never thought I will not use it again. I find more confortable using cryptocurrency since my first experience using it.
I think OP got his/her cryptocurrencies stolen in Coinbase so OP is really mad about it, I can't really downgrade what OP is feeling right now, that's a lot of money lost so what I can offer is just prayers of some sort to help OP get through this and not make his experience a summation of what cryptocurrency is.
Why op is doing like this. It's not the fault of the exchange to allow such cause case to happen which I think they would ha very lost much compared to what would have make him to change his mind about crypto. Crypto is very interesting when you are in the right team and following the right people that have good information to offer. Anything can happen in crypto so let's be ready to face the  scene

I see you are really disappointed at what happened between you and Coinbase, but, you cannot let that hold you from using and enjoying the benefits that crypto offers. In one way or the other, we've all lost something. I've experienced this before (not just once) and that is why I stopped trusting centralized exchanges. IMO, just chill out. Give yourself time. And when you come back, try your best to avoid centralized exchanges. If you trade there, withdraw and store it elsewhere, I don't count centralized exchanges as a place to store funds. It's just for the trade. After you've done your trade, move your funds out. Sorry for you loss, you really can't help it that much. But maybe, if you tried dragging them on social media, they will respond and confirm it (who knows). Just breathe. Smiley

What really happened? Care to share your "bad experiences" so we can see where you went wrong? Did you get scammed? Did you lose your coins or your wallet? Did you lose money because you sold when you were at loss? All these can be avoided if you are little careful. Instead of giving up, this of these events as a lesson. Learn from these mistakes and try again.

You are disappointed, but you should look at the bitcoin chart and you will notice that the price drops a lot and can stay low for months or years and only then starts to go up a lot, so trust that it won't go out of the game anytime soon, for this volatile market it's normal so calm down have a cup of tea then go to bed don't remember and don't look at those awful numbers.

If you are correct about what you think of the OP losing crypto-currency on coinbase then the OP hasn't be paying attention to security, why should the OP who has at full member rank although maybe or maybe not a bought account, regardless of that saving crypto-currency on an exchange is a bad drop in security habit, that's why you can have personal wallet to save your crypto-currency, and when you need it on an exchange you can transfer them, and afterwards transfer any left over crypto-currency from exchange to personal wallet.

despite the scams in crypto, the adoption is faster than what we may think. when they say BTC is the future that would all of us will adopt crypto it won't exclude those with bad experiences in crypto.

learning from bad experience is what we are good at. we are still a decade early in this adoption.

I suppose you're just another person who bought bitcoin when the price was high with the expectation that the price would go up a lot and that would make you 2X or 3X profit and now that the price is going down a lot you're disappointed, but you should have looked to the bitcoin chart and you would notice that the price drops a lot and can stay low for many months or years and only then start to rise a lot, so use a simple strategy:

buy whenever the price drops a lot, keep buying whenever the price drops a lot and keep hodl, when the price breaks the old ATH you will have already made an excellent profit

don't give up so fast

I really don't know what are these bad experiences that happened to you with Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in general but for me, I knew from the first time I was introduced to cryptocurrency that I was not going to leave this space again. Like some have already mentioned, if you don't share your problems you cannot get a solution and I hope you did not invest in some scam projects  Huh Huh Huh

Despite a very vague post, he is not wrong. It almost seems like there are more scams out there than legitimate ways to actually use crypto for daily life. I have been a big supporter for many years but the scams keep getting bigger and bigger. They are not hard to avoid if you have been in the space a while but for those who are new to crypto and have little knowledge of the tech and innovation, it can be very hard to know when you are getting scammed or actually buying something through a legitimate transaction.
