Maybe Denmark still were going to be eliminated but they could have still tried more. Actually they had a pretty comfortable group but they just failed big time against Australia and Tunisia. Collecting only one point in the group stage is unacceptable for them. I don't know what the problem was with them in this World Cup.

They seemed like they didn't care about it as much as EURO 2020. Because we all remember how successful they were back then like qualifying for semi-finals.

In Group D, France and Australia managed to advance to the next round. Denmark finished last in the group and disappointed everyone. Before the tournament, I did not expect to encounter this result. In my opinion, there was a really big surprise in group D.

Denmark's performance is very disappointing. I saw Denmark's performance against Tunisia and Australia. It did not win despite performing well enough. I don't want to think about the matches that have passed, now I am thinking about who will win the match between Argentina and Poland. It seems you don't see the line up of players from France, 80% of the line up is filled by second tier players. They are more concerned with saving the energy of the main players for the next round of 16 because they are guaranteed to qualify regardless of the result of winning or losing. It's a shame, even though they struggled to win but they lacked points in the group phase because they failed in a number of previous matches. on the other hand Australia also played very well for this group phase especially they managed to beat Denmark in the decider so it was really very good for them in this match and so far they are the first team from Asia to qualify. now waiting to see if there are other teams from Asia who can qualify because there are several opportunities for other Asian teams to qualify too.

It's just keep getting better and better as the last games of the world cup are in play.
