Congratulations to the Croatian team! Third place at the world championships is a fantastic result. The Croats finished in the top three teams in the world at the last two world championships. Only great teams achieve this result and Croatia is one of them. Luka Modric will probably finish his career in the national team, but I hope to see him at the next European Championship.

Morocco has achieved a nice 4th place, but there could have been more. Yet they also had some moments of luck, against Spain they were actually very close to elimination several times. That also applied to Croatia against Brazil, of course. The Croats were still very happy with the 3rd place, which they also achieved at the 1998 World Cup when Davor Suker was still a striker with this team. And Prosinecki, you also had a very strong team that played a part then. The Netherlands has shown little together with Belgium. Germany played very well at times and gave away the entire World Cup in 10 minutes against Japan.

Morocco strategy was defensive throughout the World Cup. It worked till quarter finals but not against teams like Frace and Croatia. Morocco will take with them lots of experience which will definitely help them in improving performance in upcoming matches. Morocco also has given a message to all Africans teams that we too can compete and win fifa worldcup.

It was actually closer than I thought.  Croatia is built to break down the defense of a team like Morocco.  Was thinking they were gonna win by 2 or 3 goals.  Overall good showing by both teams throughout the entire world cup well done.

I have got what I wanted from the consolation game today. I was expecting Croatia to be the winner against Morocco after a competitive game. Morocco didn't have as many goal attempts as their opponent maybe but they still managed to keep the score at the level they would like. They were really quick about an answer to Gvardiol's goal.

However Orsic's marvelous goal to the right corner sealed the deal for Croatia. I think both of these teams deserve appreciations because of their big efforts so far. Especially Morocco have become the first team reaching the semi finals in Africa continent for the first time.

The Morocco team tried but I did not see the same energy they put up in other games which turned out well for them before losing in the semifinals against France, it may not have affected their mentality but I think the players were actually not feet because they played like a team that didn't take the match seriously and the Croatian players being a team with much experience and discipline in the history of this tournament outshine them with a shocking defeat. The Croatian team has maintained consistency and they keep making history even with their small population who knows if they will end up lifting the world cup trophy someday with this level of experience within the team, big congratulations to the Croatian team.

Luka Modric is an amazing player. He probably did not score any goals or assists in this World Cup. However, Luka Modric's performance in each of Croatia's matches has been outstanding. Even at the age of 37, he has maintained his fitness and has supported the Croatia team in the entire World Cup. However, both Croatia and Morocco have played very well in this World Cup. But I doubt if they will be able to continue such performance in the next World Cup.

well it's a pity that the excitement of the world cup will end soon and will be closed with the final match between Argentina vs France. you are very lucky to only have a difference of 2 hours. My country and Qatar have a 4 hour time difference. but this is also lucky for me. because every match always starts after I finish from working hours. so that I rarely miss every match that is held in the World Cup this time.

I'm not sure he would be considered for the overall best defender of the tournament, as there are a few defenders who are slightly ahead of him, despite him being outstanding for someone of his age and being one of the hottest defenders in Europe. You could have made quite a bit of money if you had indicated that Morocco would reach the semi-finals. But that would actually be unrealistic. It was already very impressive that they managed to qualify for the next round of the tournament, and they even won the group. I see that people mention Brazil as a big disappointment, but what do we think of Belgium? One of the strongest teams in the world for years, but this time already eliminated in the group stage.

In this event surely Morocco was the best team with achieving good results against teams like Belgium, Spain and Portugal and French end their dream run but still good result for them because now with this success they can do better in coming year's confidence level and performance should be at his highest level which will bring a new generation for them which will give this game a different level end was not good with fourth spot because they deserve a medal but still not bad at all.

Croatia is also having good time as their few legendary players are going to retire soon, but they also give them good results in last few years, specially Modric is amazing player and his services were also amazing for his country in last few years.

It's hard not to admire the stability of the Croatian national team, which placed second and third in the last two tournaments. The struggle of the Moroccan national team and the story it wrote did deserve a third place, but they couldn't get it. Both teams played open football and made us watch an enjoyable match. I wish Modric would not leave the national team after this match but we can't expect too much.

It seems like it's hard to find motivation in the third place matches. Croatia may have wanted to be third, as they finished second in the last world cup. For Morocco, there is such an opportunity for the first time. But it is still played like the most inactive match of the tournament. Despite that, I think it was a fun game. While starting with mutual goals increased the excitement, the players did not slow down the tempo. Croatia is a more experienced team and played almost flawlessly. Due to the fact that Morocco has injured players and the team puts a lot of effort in general, their games have decreased a bit. Again, we saw luca modric all over the field, although the crowd didn't get into the Moroccan defense much throughout the game, he steered the game well from behind. He started out as number 10 and now hangs around like a libero. I hope he can use this game knowledge well as a coach. After 4 years, maybe he can fight for the world cup again at the head of this team.

Morocco and Croatia have played two matches. In the group stage and the match for third place. In the group stage the two teams drew, while Croatia had 64% ball possession. Meanwhile, in the Third Place Play-off, Morocco lost 2-1. However, 51% possession for Croatia or it can be said to be a draw. Yeah, too bad it's coming to an end. It was really a pleasure to watch all the games. Especially wince the host nation was relatively close to my country (only 2 hours time difference). The next one will be hosted by USA, Canada and Mexico and that won't be easy to watch since a lot of games will be played at night in my country.

In everything I congratulate Croatia for this winning as coming third in the world cup was something worth celebrating most especially when Croatia aim was the 1st position in the world cup but luck and chance made them fall short at some point but it was all good coming third position in tonight game.

The big game is between Frances the defending champions and Argentina, I guess the 2022 world cup is gradually coming to an end.

I only watched the Croatia vs Morocco match in the first round. because then I fell asleep accidentally because I was so exhausted after work. and when I woke up the match was over. I don't bet on matches so I can watch it in peace. I congratulate Croatia on the victory. Luka modric will probably be my favorite player. because I really appreciate the struggle in every game. and at his age, which is no longer young, we can see that Luka Modric is still looking extraordinary. he is able to play actively in every game tirelessly. energy seems endless. he always kept the croatia game in balance. Luka Modric continues to help the attack and defense lines. I admire him a little.

Congratulations to Croatia who have become the third-placed team for Qatar 2022 World Cup after their 2-1 win over Morocco in the third place match at Khalifa International Stadium, Al Rayyan. Both teams played very well and maybe Morocco's mentality is not as strong as Croatia's and also in attack there are always mistakes.
But I admire Morocco for being an underdog country team but able to reach 4th place in the 2022 World Cup and being able to rival and even beat the seeded country team.
and it seems I saw the referee who led the Croatia vs Morocco match tonight, I really believe the referee who led this match was unfair to Morocco.

I think that today Moroccan players wasted too much energy to argue with the referee who was terrible. Maybe Croatian players were better prepared mentally and they didn't argue that much even when Croatia was denied a penalty shot after the foul on Gvardiol. But none of that matter now since Croatia won. Too bad it's pretty cold in Croatia now so the welcoming party probably won't be as massive as it was four years ago.
