@LUCKMCFLY I personally felt that Italy player’s gave up the qualifying match too easily, because I was expecting a final battle between them and Portugal but they were really awful and for 2026 they need a whole new team, and a new coach if they wish to qualify for the World Cup. @Sithara007 Wales won’t win the cup, but I expect them to cause an upset or two because Bale will be fully fit, and he’ll be raring to get some wins for Wales.

Nope.. not in my wildest dreams I am expecting Wales to lift the world cup trophy. I am just excited because Wales is participating in the world cup after a huge gap of 66 years. A legendary player such as Gareth Bale needs to take part in World Cup. Just because the team is weak and the confederation is extremely tough, a lot of good players never get a chance to participate in the world cup. And that was exactly what happened to Gareth Bale till now. This will be his first and probably the last world cup. And I am sure that it will be a memorable one.

I just realized that some of these top class players will probably compete for the last time in the 2022 FIFA world cup. The reason is that the age of these top players is no longer young because the FIFA world cup is held every 4 years. then it is possible that in the 2026 fifa world cup these players will no longer play. Among these players are Cristiano Ronaldo, who is now 37 years old. so 4 years later cristiano ronaldo will be 41 years old. and i think this will make cristiano ronaldo have to play with his full strength and perform with his best game. and other players namely Lionel messi, Luka Modric and Neymar. I think these players really want to make history in their last game at the FIFA world cup 2022.
Yes, the Qatar 2022 World Cup will indeed be the last World Cup for several players, including the players you mentioned above. The age factor is the reason why they will not participate in the next World Cup. It is also possible that in a few more seasons these players will decide to retire. What is interesting to me is whether the players will be able to perform optimally or not.
if you look at the current performance of messi, neymar, Luka Modric and cristiano ronaldo. so I still see their performance and skills are still good. even age doesn't seem to be a problem for these players. because so far they look good. I hope they can maintain their performance until the 2022 FIFA World Cup starts. because if they get injured before the FIFA 2022 world cup takes place, it will certainly make them very disappointed at the last moment of their career. hopefully these superior players stay healthy until the 2022 FIFA world cup takes place. although I am not a supporter of their country. but I'm still curious about their game later.

What happens is that previously there weren't so many stars in football that shined as much as them, it is also worth pointing out that Neymar Jr is possibly also his last world cup, so Brazil is going to go with everything! this world cup will be very exciting, it will start in November and the wait is still long, at least for me there is still a long way to go, I think all fans want the world cup to start, I think we all really miss it, from all the players who They are waiting for it to be their last World Cup. I hope the best wins and hopefully one of them will make history.
Seeing the enthusiasm for watching the 2022 FIFA World Cup is very high. after the end of the pandemic then people will really want to take a vacation. and one of the best holidays is to qatar later while watching the 2022 fifa world cup. one month ago even 1.8 million tickets to watch the 2022 fifa world cup have sold very quickly.

and for fans of these star players like messi and CR7 who will be playing for the last time at the 2022 Fifa world cup. will be very impatient to want to quickly watch their performances later. will make history or make their best impression.

time feels very slow for me if I wait until the start of the 2022 fifa world cup this time.

of course they are, they represent the best team in Europe since they won the Euro, and I predicted that they were going to win it before it even started, even though I don't think they're the best in Europe, South America doesn't have a lot of good teams, It's only Brazil and Argentina and in my opinion they're better than Italy, just saying, I'm expecting one of them to win the world cup, this time is for Latin teams to shine, I'm guessing Brazil of course unless Argentina did a miracle.
Italy is surely one of the best soccer team in world but sadly now they are out of this event second time consistently which is the biggest shock for Italian soccer fans with this all can they win world cup or no surely all depend on if they were able to qualify in this even but right now it's no possible so no chance for them to win this event.

Currently, too much talk about who is going to win it's no easy as right now all top rank teams in good position with having some quality players but in last two decades Europeans are doing better than Latin Americans so here most chances same trend is doing to go because now quality is improving in Europe, and they are having few good teams which can win this event and take advantage.

The Italy thing gives me incredible pain, for me the Italians have a great style of play, also their history defines them a lot, there are already two World Cups in a row that we don't see them, I think that Italian Soccer needs to have more discipline, and that is It starts with the leagues, series A a few years ago had great fame, I know that the pandemic affected clubs around the world a lot, but I think it is time for not only the Bundesliga, the Spanish league, to shine, but also the Italian must be the protagonist, the French league is currently quite famous, in this if the money should move to promote the sport.

It is difficult to call the French league famous, given that everyone is talking about only one club (and a few years ago it was two clubs).
The absence of Italy from the World Cup is of course a big blow both for the fans and for the championship itself, but I would not say that things are bad in the Italian championship - the last season was one of the most interesting compared to other top leagues. If we talk about the economic background, then Italy is no worse than other competitors (Germany, Spain, France), but like them, it lags far behind England. From what I've heard, England is the undisputed leader in club earnings from both ticket sales and broadcasting.
With FIFA increasing the number of participants in the next World Cup, Italy should definitely be there.

Every year some of the top teams fail to qualify for the World Cup, especially from the two toughest confederations (UEFA and CONMEBOL). I am disappointed about Italy, but at the same time I am sad about Colombia, Chile and Paraguay as well. But this is how qualifications work. FIFA also need to ensure that the world cup has sufficient representation from all the regions, so sometimes teams from tough confederations lose out. But for the plus point, we have teams such as Qatar who are participating for the first time ever. I am excited about Wales as well. This is their first world cup after 1958. A wait of more than six decades. Phew!

I was watching a piece of news, but I don't know if it's real or maybe not, but it announced that perhaps for the next World Cup qualifiers, South America would expand the World Cup quotas to 6 places, if this is the case it will be very interesting , the curious thing is that it only said South America, for Europe it would also apply.

The next world cup, 2026, will be hosted in Canada, USA, and Mexico. All those 3 will be qualified because they're hosts. Also, there will be extra slots for all the confederations.

The 2026 World Cup will have 48 qualified teams instead of the 32 teams of 2022. So that's going to be an extra 16 teams for the next world cup, selected from all the confederations.

It will be the first time that some confederations will be able to qualify directly instead of having to go to play-offs.

Here's the detailed table with the new spots:

Excellent information, the fact of doing it in 3 countries is an experiment that FIFA wants to do to see how things can go, however the most benefited are those from Asia and I like that, also the addition of more countries by UEFA could guarantee that teams like Italy, Sweden if they can have more options to go to the World Cup, particularly I still feel sadness because these two teams do not go to QATAR, because they have a very good history and are actually very representative and they make many countries have many fans and want to revive actions that only they could do, as happened in USA94 with the third place of Sweden and the last World Cup that Italy won with a Zidane who hit an Italian.

I just realized that for the first time there were six teams from Asia (AFC) who managed to advance to the world cup. I think this is new history. I have high hopes for South Korea and Japan in this world cup. although the real challenge will definitely be felt for Korea and Japan because considering Qatar is a pretty hot country so I hope it won't be a problem. even some of my brothers who work in qatar say it's so hot there even at work there is someone who installs air conditioning outside the room. This will definitely be a challenge for a team from a country that has cold temperatures.

The hosts always gain automatic qualification, and on top of that there are 4 exclusive slots for AFC. Apart from these, Australia managed to win the playoff against Peru. So in total there are 6 countries from the AFC. All that said, South Korea and Japan are a joke. They have huge fanbase, but they never perform in major tournaments. They look completely clueless when they play against top teams such as Brazil or England.

And now coming to the weather, I don't think that there needs to be much concern. During evening time, the weather is much more tolerable. On top of that, the tournament is taking place during the winter season.

It's true, I think that the match between Australia and Peru was not that exciting, but this time for me, I was more for Australia than for Peru even though I am South American, I think that the kangaroos of the beautiful country need to do a good job in QATAR . The criticism for the oceanic country has been many, but there is still a long way to go before they can fix all those inconsistencies that could have been shown, I think they will give a good show and will be able to go very far in the World Cup.

I don’t know about you’ll but having more teams can make the World Cup dreadfully long and boring too, and many will avoid watching the initial matches as the big teams will probably be clashing later on only. Also I too felt that Italy should have made it this year, but in the end it felt like that they ran out of desire to play at the World Cup.

Yeah.. their squad for 1998 was one of the strongest they ever sent to the FIFA World Cups. But still they failed to win the trophy and finished up in the second place (France won the cup that time, thanks to the goals from Zinedine Zidane and Emmanuel Petit). They won the title in 2002, and that squad had players including Rivaldo, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Roberto Carlos, Kaká and Edílson. Anyway, there is no point in comparing with the squads form two decades earlier. Even this time, Brazil is having really good players such as Neymar, Richarlison, Gabriel Jesus and Philippe Coutinho.

Though Brazil has players like Neymar but I don't think there squad is as strong as they were in 1998 and 2002. EU teams like Germany, Netherlands are more stronger then Brazil. Brazil is favorite in every worldcup but for last few years there performance has dropped significantly.

Definitely not. Did you forgot what happened during the UEFA qualifiers? Both Germany and Netherlands suffered upset defeats. In their first qualifying match, the Netherlands went down against Turkey by a margin of 2-4. And Germany was humiliated by North Macedonia, as they were defeated with a margin of 1-2 (would have been 0-3, if the referee was unbiased). On the other hand, Brazil has been consistent. When was the last time either Venezuela or Bolivia managed to beat them in the CONMEBOL qualifier (both these teams are much stronger than either Turkey or North Macedonia)?

I want to ask if there is any information consigning FIFA 2022 world cup because this tournament is not speculating like all other kind of tournament so therefore I want to really get appropriate information of what is happening in football industry. Because I'm seeing some clubs that is into a problem of buying players so all those things is urgent that I found difficult to understand in this present tournament
Getting information about the world will soon be here since there are different kind of activities now in the world that is taking many people's time taking there concentration on other activities. You can check online to get more information about anything that you may want to know about the 2022 World Cup. The time is close and soon the world Cup would be here stearing at us.

For me I don't think I will put more concentration on the World Cup because of the current war that is happening in Ukraine and many people had even forgotten that something horrible is happening in other regions of the world.

I agree with you, Brazil football will never be separated from the legendary figure of Pele. History records that Brazil is the winner of the most World Cups with five times lifting the trophy, after which Brazil has been absent for 20 years.
but I have more expectations, the current Brazil squad is very good with the current composition of players. Brazil has a chance to get the title although it would be too early to say.
As for France, with its not-so-good performance in the last two competitions, France's line-up hasn't changed much. I think this time they will learn from previous experiences. they will become tougher with a record of the reciprocal relationship between players more harmonious.

To be honest I don’t think Brazil is the favorite to win that World Cup this time. I said that with all due respect because I know Brazil is the team that has the most number of World Cup wins. However, I believe there are more deserving teams than Brazil for the World Cup right now. I am going to talk about a team that is actually more deserving than Brazil, which is France. I believe even though the performance of France in the international friendlies a few days ago was not very convincing, it doesn't have anything to do with how they are going to perform during the World Cup. I think France might be able to win the World Cup again this time.
I agree with this point. France is more favourable than Brazil in this World Cup definitely. The age of Brazil is over. I don't think majority of people will see them as favourites this time and probably in the next 2-3 world cups. There is a more Europe dominance these days, in my opinion. I believe Brazil lack the discipline in the game, even though they are a football nation. There is definitely something missing that makes them great like before. To be honest, other Latin America teams also. I love to watch them play. But if we talk about winning the cup, that is another business.

For the world cup, I can say that even Italy, which could not participate in the cup, would have been a much stronger candidate than many Latin American countries that are currently in the cup.

I think this is Ronaldo last football World Cup - I have read it somewhere.
We always have so many hopes from Ronaldo and Messi that they will show amazing superpowers during their matches.
With most chances not only Ronaldo we have very long list from many countries but with having few players those are having special attention Ronaldo and Messi both at top those are going to have this world as their last appearance. Many are going to be out of soccer without this world cup as well because now they can't be in this all like Robert Lewandowski is also never been part of this world cup,  am surely going to miss player like this because one of the good players in current era. Luka Modrić and Neymar are also now have good contribution with their quality and skills should be remembered.

The squad  Brazil used to have back then was one of the strongest squad,  I don't still think if Germany is still stronger than Brazil.  Brazil has always kept that good record of having good performance in every world cup. Apart from Neymar their still good players in Brazil who ate still the strength of the team.
Who is the stronger of the two can only be shown by their match. I also think that Brazil are very well prepared for this championship, but judging by their shameful loss in the other World Cup, which incidentally was held in Brazil, they definitely need revenge. By the way, no one expected Germany to defeat Brazil with a huge score.
The OP didn't keep Brazil or Argentina in the voting system. Maybe their performance didn't get the much attention to him. But according to me Germany and Brazil these two teams are more qualified for the final in the World Cup. One of the team between the two may take the  winning title. But since there are many good countries as well, there is no chance to leave Argentina behind. All in all, the World Cup in Qatar will be full of excitement for everyone.

This is a rather closed country, so the news from there does not come in as much as we would like. I am also interested to know at what stage the preparations for the championship are going on. As far as I remember, something very cool was planned there, like fully air-conditioned stadiums, I wonder if they were able to implement it?
As for the trip, I would not go even if I had the opportunity. Too big cultural differences.
There are strict restrictions about few things, so we have to wait for final announcement about this then hopefully we all have good news about this because recently they have few controversies which was creating serious trouble for many, so now they have done ban on many things even no one can give you picture of many places those are under construction specially all related to FIFA World Cup 2022.

One of my friend is also involved their few weeks back we were regularly in talk, but now he is not available for any update as too much hard schedule for labors and lower class workers without any special bonus or increase in salaries which is also big issue, but media not allowed to highlight anything just wait and watch for all details.

@Ahli38 You'll get over it. I used to feel old and shit and then I just became desensitized. People grow old, and it's good they play their last tourney so we get fresh blood. Ronaldo is fit and all that but he needs to make way man (for example).

We should respect all countries' own religious and cultural issues. Qatar administration is very strict regarding religious restrictions. They may have been a bit flexible at FIFA's request during the World Cup. However, I don't think the Qatar World Cup will disappoint the audience. I am saying this because they have spent an estimated 220 billion to host the World Cup. Since the weather is very hot, they have several air-conditioned stadiums. I think overall the audience will enjoy the World Cup in Qatar.

Er, yeah dude no need to beat a dead horse, something discussed to the death with no real value or content. Anyway, my question and KTChampions' response was more about actual prepping in terms of technical facilities (stadium).

Think we all need to be more aggressive in reporting...
