Here are the positions for the Germany v Portugal match.

Lahm and Hummels will have to defend against Christiano Ronaldo, while Lukas Podolski will be playing against Alves.

Germany will win and Ronaldo will cry, I love it when he cries.

Grin When he beat Messi. And then someone made a game about him crying one time! Lol, what the hell? Do people on the the Interwebs get off on tears?

Germany will be hard to beat if actually beat at all, Germany is my fav to win the world cup but I still think Portugal will give them a run for their money this time.

I'd love to watch over-rated arrogant teams such as Germany going down in the group stage. How can anyone justify their #2 world ranking? And I am going to watch this match, as the timings are favorable. Hoping for a Portuguese win.

That does not mean they can't score and produce a good game. Most teams only have 1 world class player, others none. Spain as 11 look what happened with only 2 world class players 1-5.

Thing is we could discuss this all day, at the end of the day people will have preferences on teams and players, and Portugal is never a fav but its always there on quarters and semis, so obviously they can play football.

Portugal as plenty more to offer then just Ronaldo... Yes he is important for the team but don't ignore the rest of them.. you could be in for a surprise just as Spain did. Wink

Rolando is the only world class player in the squad. Some of the others, such as Nani, Bruno Alves, Fábio Coentrão, and João Moutinho are really good players, but they can't be labelled as one of the best in the world.  Grin

We shall see, a draw wouldn't be so bad. It will be a good game that is for sure. This time I am putting my money in Portugal, have a good feeling about them for some reason!

Did anybody get to see the Cote Vs. Japan match? I couldn't watch it, but noticed that it went 2-1. Does anyone have a idea on how Cote won?

Anyway, how do you guys think the Brasil Vs. Cameroon match will go? Going to obviously bet on Brasil then.

Backing Germany today. I have to back U.S, 'cause I'm a Murican, and voting on a foreign land would surely have me looked down upon. But Germany has been demolishing it! Nine wins so far, right, compared to Portugal's three. Number four guy from Portugal seems popular amongst fans, however. But then again, his/Ronaldo's injury screwed them over.

Portugal should win today's match, as Christiano Ronaldo seems to be in good form. It will also expose how crappy are FIFA's global rankings. The other two matches are lacklustre. But I feel that Nigeria and Ghana might win their respective matches.

Would it be worth betting a full coin?
The WC is happening in Brazil, so I am sure its home ground for them!

Yea that's a huge advantage. I'd be confident in a full coin on brazil
