Any predictions about FIFA World Cup 2018?

Who might get the 2018’s World Cup?

Can anyone successfully predict it?

Seeing Germany today's performance, i can see them in the final four.

Wow, I made a bet for an England win against Panama, I bet 0.01 BTC for a 3-0 win, but England has destroyed panama with a 6-1 result. I knew that England had a big advantage but I didn't think they would be so offensive. Eventually Panama found a way to score one but England is obviously a top 5 contender.

The tournament is now taking shape and the usual suspects are the only ones with real options to win and pass on the next rounds. Germany vs England will be one of the best matches I hope we can see that one.

Woah thats a risky bet there, If you bet for England -3 then you would have gotten great odds. I wouldnt be so sure regarding Germany and England. It will probably be a one sided match because England usually turn into a flop team whenever they play with a top team. Against a team like Panama it was expected that they win the game

I'm not sure, but i've bet on 5 or so games on Nitrogen and LOST every single wager. Even games that were just about a sure win, I've lost. It's pretty well known that FIFA is one of the most corrupt organizations, and I have no doubts that the games are rigged in some way for someone out there to make profit. Now more than ever after betting on these games where certain teams should have definitely won.

TBH, I would not be surprised if Russia ended up winning. If they do, you know for sure something is up....

An easy win for England today! The first half was very good of England but the bad defence of Panama also helped  Grin.
In the end 6-1. I am looking forward to thursday for the match of Belgium vs England, this could be a real nice match as both teams are in fine form.

England are looking really good this time.
Belgium and England both had a great show in their 2 played games. But they are still to face a competitive side.
Game between Belgium and England would be great to watch. But their real test would come in the group of 16.

How many penalty kick has been given so far? Lol.. I think the new record will be created here in Russia.

You are right out of 10 games 8games have penalty kick and in that almost all got success and this time starting games gone with less goal and today England score superb and scored 5goal in first half

CR gave his team 2 wins while Messi missed even a simple penalty that a blind man can score! besides broking Maradona heart  Tongue
Ok for Argentina an easy win is inimaginable, a draw is possible but a Nigerian win isn't hard too.

I know that you hate messi based on your post but you are really overstating this thing. Everyone know a blind man cant score a penalty with a goalkeeper on it. Argentina need to win but based on the statistic, they are not really on a good side right now. Their past performance was really bad. This is fact, not just a hate post of Argentina just like yours

Nope, I don't hate it as a person and the example of the blind man isn't real but you understand what I meant tho. Messi is asked to give a huge addition to his team and he failed badly, if CR (or lukaku or any other player) did the same i will criticise him too.
The most important thing is the next game, we will have a talk after it Wink
Now back to 6-1, the funniest part is that the Panamanians are too happy with the goal despite breaking the Saudi record!

Guys, today is Messy's birthday  Cheesy let's congrats him and wish more goals! Hope the whole Argentine team will wake up and show good itself on the cup.
Argentina will not qualify for the next round despite being able to win and score in the next game because Argentina have not experienced a victory in the previous two games. World Cup this year a lot of surprises, many countries are not superior but able to beat the countries that many have famous players

If Nigeria manages to hold on to a draw against Argentina, then they will qualify. But it is going to be a very tough task.

BTW.. did any one read about the controversies surrounding the Serbia vs Switzerland match? The reputation of FIFA was tarnished after they shamelessly favored Switzerland during the match. Mitrovic was wrestled to the ground by two Swiss players and even then the penalty was not given.

^  Seeing how Argentina has been playing in this WC, it's very possible Nigeria can get a draw...  An easy draw imo.

So does anybody now think Ronaldo is better than Messi?  Ronaldo has some good leadership skills while Messi just looks at his team mates in a bad way if they miss a shot or do something wrong on the pitch.  Grin

If Argentina fail to win again vs Nigeria on Tuesday (God forbid) they better never ever return home lol. They should just get on the plane and emigrate altogether to Switzerland or something  Grin About Ronaldo - he is an absolute team leader and will probably become a great manager after retirement as well. He was coaching his team mates from the bench after he got injured in EURO 2016 final vs France. As for Messi, he looks like a child someone has stolen the candy from when his game sucks. Zero leadeship whatsoever. In my book Ronaldo > Messi.

I think Ronaldo is better than Messi at this point. Messi falls under pressure, that is very clear to me. And it is not only in the Argentinian selection team, if you look at the statistics, in the crucial high level matches, he doesn't score that many goals, even with Barca. When he is against very high skilled top 5 teams in the Champions he always underperforms too. Don't get me wrong he is a genius, but he doesn't have Ronaldo's intensity, he is always involved, even if he losses you can see it matters a lot of him, Messi is just more passive.

Iceland and Nigeria are composed of inexperienced players. On the other hand, the Argentine and Croatian players have a lot of experience. And we all know that experienced players perform when it is needed the most. Just my 2 cents..

Bonkers we are discussing Iceland at all, such a tiny nation and performing at the top level.  They are possibly my favourite team to support of my own country, they are most deserving.
Despite failing to win their opening game against Switzerland, Brazil remain the favourites to lift the trophy according to dabblebet. Neymar, Philippe Coutinho and Co. are rated 4/1 to emerge triumphant in Moscow on July 15.

Seems like a crazy polar extreme to fail at the first hurdle and then somehow beat all others.  I can only presume they had some kind of jetlag situation going on that caused them to underperform to start off with but they can correct themselves and improve vastly.   Still seems a bit of an omen
