I actually can't agree that a new coach cannot change the team!! A manager controls the team, controls how they play, and all that stuff. Look at what Pep Guardiola has achieved with Manchester City, do you think other managers can do it and win the Premier leagues a few times in a row like it was nothing?

Ancelotti on the other hand knows how to handle his team. As I have said earlier, he brings the best out of the team that he has been given. Neymar is not the only player in the Brazil team who can play well, they have new youngsters right now who have already achieved more than Neymar. I am not saying they are better than Neymar; they have the potential to become better than him. Neymar's injury will have an impact on the team but they have to work with what they have. And Neymar needs to be consistent about being fit as well. They have very good wingers right now, for example, Gabriel Marinelli, Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo, and many more.

Their performance is still quite alright really, it's just that the expectations from Brazil is that they win every single match.

The south american qualification is actually quite competitive, probably the most difficult in the entire world, and it's not an easy thing to qualify there.

Just because Brazil has lost a few more matches than usual doesn't mean they won't be able to qualify to this one.

In Brazil they respect the superstar player too much and even if they have weak performances for some months, people still lose the players, Neymar is a known and famous superstar player in Brazil, and people in this country want to see him play for their team. op I agree with you because neymar gets injured more than other players. If we watch Neymar's games, we can understand that when Neymar runs with the ball, he must be surrounded by four or five people, or maybe he gets more injured because of the pain in his leg that repeatedly hits him. But no one wants to be injured on purpose. So while Neymar is definitely a good quality player, if he plays in the 2026 World Cup, it doesn't mean that he will be sitting in that wheel chair. Of course we want Neymar to play the 2026 World Cup and perform well. That's actually true, but still Brazilian players are really good overall. Random players will still be better than players from most other countries.

But yeah, they have not been at the expected level, which is basically being number one in the world.

It is a difficult expectation to fill.

In my opinion, Brazil still has a solid team, they need a quality coach, reportedly Ancelotti will become their coach when his contract with Madrid ends in june 2024. I understand that Brazil is in a slump in the qualifying round, but mathematically they still have a chance to win qualify and appear in the next World Cup. on the other hand, I am sure they will not lack the best players because they still have 2 years left to develop their young players.

Neymar is the backbone of the National Team, and the absence of the Al Hilal player reduces the rhythm of attacks on the front lines, but as I said at the beginning there is still time for Neymar and everything will get back on track. Moreover, in the future, if Ancelotti really becomes the head coach of the Brazil squad, then their bargaining value will be even better at the World Cup. I think there will be a change regarding their mentality, so Brazil can talk a lot there.

I don't know if things will change from here to 2026 but certainly the Brazilian national team has a lot of work needing to be done before it returns back to its normal quality and the winning mentality again.
Right now I will say definitely Argentina and Brazil has to swap their place but if we take on consideration the rumours about Carlo Ancelotti might coaching the Brazilian team then we might expect a lot of improvement and we may see Brazil competing all the other teams. Until then, it is early to judge about the team future.

Brazil are always one of the main favourites for the championship. But I found it strange that Argentina are in fourth place, although they managed to win the last tournament by beating France, who are second in the ranking. But I wasn't surprised by the list of contenders. I probably wouldn't have believed that England would win.

When my father watches football and sees Brazil, he is very happy. He always expects miracles from Brazil and I often tell him that this Brazil is not the Brazil he was used to watching in his childhood. To be fair, football changes. Teamwork wins over individual capabilities. Why was Spain so powerful during 2008-2012? Spanish National Team was full of Barca and Real Madrid players. Pique, Alba, Busquets, Alonso, Xavi, Iniesta... 6 great players from one team. They have been playing together for years at club level, so they are gonna surpass any squad where players have been playing in different clubs and countries and only spend some weeks together at national team while these guys were spending every day together and have played hundreds of matches together. Then there you had Casillas, Ramos, Arbeloa.
Then there we had Germany. They didn't have superstars but still managed to win because teamwork was on another level but at the same time, Neuer, Boateng, Lahm, Muller, Schweinsteiger were playing together in Bayern Munich.

A few years ago Brazil had many strong and famous players also the playing style of this team was very different from what we see from then these days.
The only superstar player they have is just Neymar and we know he can't do anything for this team right now because he is mostly injured or not in the good form to have the perfect they want to see from him.
This means Brazil should make huge changes hoping to get some improvements.

We never expected the performance of the Brazil team in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Because of most of Neymar's injuries, maybe he is not able to give good support to his team. Due to which the Brazilian team is somewhat under pressure. If the 2026 World Cup qualifiers perform the way they have performed, then the 2026 World Cup Brazil will not be a great success.

I know that it's unlikely, but as far as I can remember they have never been worse during the qualification. Yet they are the favorites? Let them lose one more game and it could get horrible for them. Since so many teams qualify, they will make the cut, but given what is known today these odds are weird as I said.

Brazil performance currently not really impressive well in World Cup and they got losses on qualifier matches, I think bit stupid with odd by putting Brazil on the first position teams standing have large potential for winning FIFA World Cup 2026. I agree with you about their performance, but quality is still best in the world as they have too many quality players which are giving their best in all around the world so it's just a matter of management which is not having good results, and they need to go with this aggressively as we have rumours they are offering coach offers to Zidane and Ancelotti, but things are not going well as they needed so hopefully they will manage this all in coming days for the improvement.

We have now nearly 30 months in World Cup which is important for them as they are going down if they want to bounce back then surely, they need to be tough for this and having good results as well their current generation is also capable of doing things like they have in history but who is going to bring change it is a big question for all Brazilians.

The last time a player made it into the top three at the Ballon d'Or award was in 2017 when Neymar came third. Before that it was Neymar in 2015 and before that it was Kaka in 2007 coming first. Do you really think that right now the most best players in the world come from Brazil? We are talking about active players. This isn't the best metric to look at, but if we check the whole potential across one team, I think France would score the highest average in points per player. Maybe some other team, but I don't think it would be Brazil.
