I can remembered when I had my first job in texas, and I was diligently on my job, and I was always paid by cash, until I was robbed on my way home before the manager of the company called all the workers and had a meeting with us on a new method of payment, and he needed our suggestions, I suggest we should be paid by bitcoin and that's what's the best idea ever because everyone agreed with me, and I have to teach our manager on how to make use of bitcoin wallet, and he letter watch more about bitcoin on youtube, and that's was how we begin to be paid by bitcoin till date.

Hello everyone I am very excited today as finally my boss has agreed to pay in Bitcoin. After losing at my first attempt in Cryptocurrency as I thought that wealth falls like rain here I was brought back to reality with losses I got a little job on the side although a small amount paying job I think it is okay for me and I can get back on my feet.
Congratulations to you on finally convincing your company to pay you in bitcoin and am sure you learn how to use non-custodial Bitcoin wallet to store your Bitcoin holding, if you plan to have your saving from your salary in Bitcoin. Otherwise, if your salary is small and can only cover your monthly bills that case you may use an exchange to reduce the cost of transaction fees and says exchange the salary for your local currency. But it best you, first of all, take the time to study risk management if your total monthly is 100%/in Bitcoin, it will not be a smart idea due to bitcoin volatility so to reduce the risk of losing your money, you should also try to diversify your portfolio.

Nevertheless, CBDCs will allow for governments to fully trace all your movements with a much broarder view of your doings than nowadays, becoming a massive big brother in relation to what, when and how one does what with their CBDC balance. What’s more, they could, at some point, explore radical routes such are some (usual suspects) are already exploring (nothing firm though): adding expiry dates to CBDCs.

Getting paid in bitcoin does entail privacy issues too, as the payer can track the recipient address and its related TX history. It may not reach the government’s hands, but I wouldn’t want corporate Human Resources having to snoop over what’s none of their concern. Some people will be able to do a good job of preserving their privacy through additional steps, but for the most, it’s not even a thing that will cross their mind.

What's surprising here? I don't think so - and of course your boss has the option of paying you in bitcoin as long as you both agree to the payment. Regardless of where you live, I still don't know if your country has legalized bitcoin as a means of payment, but if it is illegal then surely paying salary in bitcoin shouldn't need to be made public.

The salary payment in CBDC will not differ from the salary in fiat, as it is just another form of money. In fact, when you receive a salary in CBDC, you can also convert it to bitcoin if you wish, just like now you can convert your fiat to BTC.
Exactly, CBDC is fiat in another form. High volatility can be minimized with CBDC, so that governments can adopt it to pay salaries instead of adopting bitcoin. I'm more likely to receive CBDC as a salary although some of it I can convert to bitcoin or altcoin.

...But anyway I don't think the government is going to take much risk with bitcoin being so volatile, so I guess the final solution they are really thinking of is CBDC...

Yeah, I can see that considering that common companies should be legally registered to the respective government agencies before they operate. Knowing that the company suddenly changed their way of paying salary to something that is decentralized would surely lead to the said business shutting down if the crypto, not just Bitcoin, was not recognized as a legal tender unlike what happened to El Salvador just like you mentioned it.

Somehow it is different to those who are just having a small business for their extra income. Cheesy

We all understand that such payment in bitcoins should be settled at the enterprise so that similar situations do not arise later, regardless of whether the price of BTC will increase or decrease. But in any case, such a salary in bitcoins will be illegal, perhaps only except for El Salvador.
The government will not easily legalize bitcoin as currency, let alone to pay employees' salaries. Of course it is illegal in many countries, but the idea would be great if it were adopted.

In some countries that have legalized bitcoin such as El Salvador, they can pay employee salaries with bitcoin. But anyway I don't think the government is going to take much risk with bitcoin being so volatile, so I guess the final solution they are really thinking of is CBDC. I mean a government or a company will probably set a budget for employee salaries, so it will be difficult to manage their budget when the bitcoin price is volatile.

After losing at my first attempt in Cryptocurrency as I thought that wealth falls like rain here I was brought back to reality with losses I got a little job on the side although a small amount paying job I think it is okay for me and I can get back on my feet.

Ever since I started working I have always been talking to my boss and coworkers about Cryptocurrency and after persisting they started to give me listening ears, I made sure to also tell them my experience and made sure they got my picture.

Along the line my boss got very much interested in cryptocurrency especially in Bitcoin. Assisted him in creating his Bitcoin wallet and taught him all I could, it surprised me when he finally accepted to pay me in Bitcoin and has giving it as an option to other workers, it's a big joy for me and I believe they are also talking about cryptocurrency to their friends and family too, just got my first payment in Bitcoin this evening.
Congratulations! I can see you're overjoyed, and I feel the same way since nothing can excite someone like watching their goals come true. I hope your employer keeps paying you with bitcoin. However, since we are currently in a bear market and Bitcoin is drastically fluctuating, it is now up to you to make your own plans. Additionally, I think your boss will start accepting bitcoin in his or her business once this new way of payment has been adopted.

This kinda reminds me of the good old news where the boss of the company demanded his employee to refund or give back the salary he gave after the market went bullish. ..

I personally think that is great. Getting paid in bitcoin for a side hustle is an ideal solution to invest in bitcoin periodically.
I think you should also try to find a day job which pays you in fiat currency to handle all the bills and expenses.
Create a balance between the two incomes to stay invested in bitcoin while managing your expenses.
Diversify your investments so that it can generate you good returns over the long term.

If this is kind of a side hustle I guess it ideal to use it as a payment with bitcoin because sometimes using Paypal takes time before getting into your hand but in terms of bitcoin its easier to receive and recently now we have a low transaction fee from the recent months I've seen the fee in the range of 15sat/byte and below I guess you are referring to the creation of the account with an exchange or in the wallet because you can't create an account to bitcoin itself, currently the price of the bitcoin is sitting right now in the range of 16-20k USD so still good chance to get profit in a small amount in volatility.

Not everything has to be proven, right?
whether he should publish the balance received from his salary or give the address to the public, I do not think it is necessary because I believe he is telling the truth. He might be able to share tips to convince someone of Bitcoin and I think teaching the boss won't be easy but I'm sure he has a way of conquering it.
A person who is able to teach his boss about Bitcoin very well is a very extraordinary person. Because he needed to make his boss believe and be interested in Bitcoin, indeed it was not easy to do considering he is an employee and the person he is going to teach is a boss who always pays him a salary.

In this case he just needs to have good communication every day with his boss so that what he wants to teach can be conveyed correctly, because imparting unusual knowledge to a boss clearly requires a different method and time than most people in general. And regarding showing a balance that already has a wallet, I agree with what you said because I don't think it's important to do that because there are still many ways to make someone believe in Bitcoin without having to show the contents of the balance in the wallet.

Well, without any pictorial proof, this is just like a mere statement just like many others. But moreover, congrats on your new salary payment option of using Bitcoin. Secondly, I expected you to have given more evidence to prove that you actually opened a Bitcoin wallet for your boss, and what type of wallet did you open?, What were you able to teach him about Bitcoin.

This will involve a bit process for your Boss other than just receiving your salary directly in your local fiat currency. Because at some point your Boss might get discouraged and stop paying you in BTC, as regards to how much he spent on top of your salary in transaction fees or sometime sees that his Bitcoin is reducing in terms of dollar value.

Therefore you need tell your boss things he could face while holding and paying you salary in Bitcoin.

This kinda reminds me of the good old news where the boss of the company demanded his employee to refund or give back the salary he gave after the market went bullish. I cannot quite pinpoint what country was it and how much Bitcoin was paid to the employee though.
When it comes to those, the company should have a system to automatically determine how much Bitcoin would be given to their employee at the pay date, otherwise it might cost the company one day.

Edit:
It was this news, lol. - Boss pays employee in cryptocurrency but wants it returned after its value rose by 700%
It was not mentioned that Bitcoin was used as payment, so my apologies for that. Cheesy

I have a friend who works for one of the leading companies, you could say my friend's boss is also a crypto investor, he really understands how crypto works, there is an idea like you proposed, unfortunately my friend told me, the idea of paying employee salaries with Bitcoins don'tagreed by friend's boss.

Reason:
• Bitcoin is suitable as a digital asset operating as investment & trade.
• Bitcoin fee for 1000 employees with different salary, bigger fee.
• Paying employee salaries with fiat does not incur additional nominal fees.

That's the basis for my friend's boss not wanting to pay employee salaries with bitcoin, but who knows in the future my friend's boss will change his mind and he can follow in your boss' footsteps.

This is good news for you to teach and convince your boss to adopt bitcoin as a method of payment to his staffs in his company. I will suggest that you should tell him the volatile nature of bitcoin so that he don't get disappointed and feel you came to deceive him when there is a dip in price.

You should also teach your boss how he can keep his coin save by getting a hardware wallet and not to keep his investment in an exchange if not if he gets scammed he can get you arrested because you were the one that convinced him into bitcoin investment and payment method.
Nice one OP,you have done well.

When paying for work in bitcoins, it is very important to understand whether the payment in bitcoins is fixed or whether it will be different each time depending on the exchange rate of the national currency. If it is a fixed salary, then the OP will receive a double bonus in the bull market, but at the same time his boss will have to pay more generously than others.
